that's what is so great about Team 3 [ET] wheels.
any width, any back space, any bolt pattern, any lug choice, different center caps, etc.
the only thing i was concerned about when i got my wheels was, i wanted a cast finish, so i could paint the wheels like oxidized magnesium. they came with a polished hoop/barrel.
now, i don't know if i can make myself scuff and paint it like i wanted to do ! confused

I am so tuck in the 1990s where a Cragar wheel cost $89 and a premium Centerline or Weld Wheel cost $160. I see in 2022 a Premium 15x10 or wider is wheel over $420!!! Can I order from a 1991 Summit catalog?

I know you said you are looking for the straight style but if you change your mind and settle for the D style I have a pair of 15 x 8.5’s They have a 5 x 4.5 bolt pattern and are brand new. Have a 3.75 inch backspace. I bought these and the tire combo did not fit so I had to get 8 inch wide.

I love the D's and I think they look perfect with bias-ply tires.

Back in HS a friend of mine and his brother just got back from Viet Nam where his brother landed a job at ET Mags in Benicia, CA. He was a warehouse dude involved with final inspection before shipping. Their biggest customer at the time was the Grand Auto chain in Cali. Any wheels that he found to have blems were set aside for disposal. Management let the employees have their pick. Needless to say we always had ET spokes on our rides.

one other question.
can a guy use the original style wheels with disc brakes ? if not, what are the interference points ?
i don't care for the curved spokes of the TQ2.
as a machinist, i can modify items safely if necessary, to use the original straight spoke wheels.

i've always been a torque thrust fan; curved or straight spokes. i remember back in the mid '60's when the wheels were $50 apiece and we couldn't afford them. back then you could get them in about any backspace wanted. i think they began re-poping them in the early nineties and the 15x7's i bought were about $165 apiece; pricey for 1992. i just bought a set of tires today to put on some USA made 15x7's i've had laying around for my '69 r/t. i used to run torque thrust on my r/t for years but got the red line bug and tried that a few years ago. i like redlines painted wheels with small caps, which my car originally came with, but the repop quality for price paid isn't good. you can't beat a one piece alum wheel for a good ride.

something to think about; the curved spokes were designed to clear disc brake calipers.

The reason the TTDs were introduced was because the original TTs interfered with disc brake calipers.
IIRC, it was specifically Corvettes, but would likely have been a problem with GM cars generally.
And ya know, Chevys get the new aftermarket stuff first - since 1955 or so...

The curved spoke faces seem to me to make up for the material they removed from the backsides of the spokes.
