After talking with the Mickey Thompson Tech guy on Monday I had about the same questions as you. Per his recommendations I'm going to switch to the stiff side wall tire and run tubes. only difference in our tire size mine are 32's my car is also on the heavy side @ 3500 with driver. he also suggested to start the air pressure @ 8 and see if I can work it up to 10 lbs. I'm looking for better 60 ft and of course consistent RT and No spin.

Quicktree I am going to experiment with more pressure and see what happens. I wish they made my size in a stiff wall! Jeg's lists D05 on page 240 as a Soft compound. If the soft compound wears out quicker maybe that would match me wearing out the sidewalls! I would be paying a lot more for tires each year though! Mike

"go to 14.5 x 32 15's " A little too big for my Mini-tubbed B body! I know the tubes will only be a band aid if the sidewalls are shot. I think I am just gona order the Hoosiers and be done with the Goodyears. Thanks Mike

Once again, AIR UP YOUR TIRES, the M/T rep is out of his mind to suggest 8psi on a 3500 lb car he isn't even close. Maybe 12. Your tail wagging is lack of air. Mike
