73-76 are plastic, 72 down are metal. They should be interchangeable but I have never used the plastic ones...

WINGNUT Just an FYI for caution Also… I believe the rear splash shield between the wheel well and front door jam area is the same as the corresponding year 67-72 and 73-76 Darts. The fender side profile is the same as they share the same doors: Dart, Valiant, Scamp…. Rhinodart can you deny or confirm this?

Yes except the Valiant/Duster fender bends sharply down while the dart sweeps back at an angle so the splash shields are different, Plymouth has an extra bracket welded on also...

Thank you for clarifying. That makes sense about the wheel lip shape and how it ties into the splash shield. So 67-72 Valiant, Duster, Scamp: same metal rear splash shield ? And 73-76 Valiant, Duster, Scamp: same plastic rear splash shield ?
