Wow!!!

Thanks a lot for the help!!!

This should point me in the right direction to do the resto on this baby.

One thing Im unsure about is the undercoating!!! Id hate to cover all the detailed work with a coat of tar!!!

Does anybody have pics of the underside of original undercoated cars? How do they look like?

If you undercoat make sure you put the same amount on both sides or an unbalanced condition may arise .... Like this vehicle that was only undercoated on the passenger side.

Hello Domingo, I see you finally got the T/A you got from me, I'm glad you like it, I'm rebuilding a 69 dated T/A motor with no numbers on it, it will be for sale when I'm done, if your interested contact me. I'll send you some pictures of my latest T/A.

You could always leave the J55 undercoating off and then put it on later when the bottom starts to look bad.

Try this link for some undercoating info...

It's worth noting that all the cars got undercoating in the front & rear wheelwells after paint. Also some inside the quarters before paint.
