Cal-Customs Aluminum oil pan for small and big Mopar.
I know they made Chevy ones that looked like the finned vavle covers.
Might have been another company but had that same look cast finned.
Or have I lost it..........

I can't say for certain either but, to me it sure sounds like something you would have found in a PAW catalog if it did exist. That catalog had EVERYTHING.

i don't believe any were made.
i have a few of the old PAW catalogs, so i flipped through them. the only aluminum ribbed pans were for small block fords and chevys. and for only $29.95 !
after looking at those pans, i suppose one could chop one up and attach the finned parts to a mopar pan. i think they were pretty thick, so there should be material there to sculpt to the contour of your pan of choice.
how the ribbed sections would be attached may take some thought. an industrial high temperature epoxy would possibly work.

Never seen a cast Mopar pan for autos. I have old magazines back until they first came out with the big and small block mopars. Never seen a ad or mention of one.

I think there are boat cast pans for Marine use.

Also the Petty Engineering RB pan for dry sump is cast or partially cast.

The only vintage Cal-Custom Mopar items I was able to find are aluminum big block valve covers and this "Cal-Custom" vintage door decal on my '69 A12 Road Runner that I'm not removing

my buddy, member crowbait, has a 440 boat engine.
it has a cast aluminum oil pan, and it is a flat tapered bottom style, almost like a dragster oil pan. i don't know what the capacity is, or if the sump is baffled because the pan has never been off that engine.
