Next coming weekend is the annual Fall Fling Mopar car show/swap meet in Van Nuys, CA (Saturday only) and was checking to see who is going. I’ll be there in the area picking up some stuff and probably check out the local seen for all the hot rods that show up at Bob’s Burgers. Anyone going to be attending?

I will be there, if I can get a friend or two to join in, may share a swap space, I will be looking for parts and stuff for latest project, '38 Dodge truck, steering column, SBM heads for the 408, a bunch of other stuff.

any hotel specials in the area like Holiday Inn that was done for the Spring Fling show? Average price is $270 a night in the area.

Must have been something they had going. There was a carriage inn deal we had but it’s expired only 3 days from show.

The hotel in Congo’s park has overnight trailer parking and at no charge.
Does anyone remember what time the front gates close to the park for the emergency vehicles entrance? What do you mean emergency vehicle? On Saturday: Swap and Show Cars are let in a 7:00am and the gate closes for both at 10:00am Gate open to leave at 1:00 pm

Well running on 3 hours of sleep over two days was probably not my best way to enjoy the show, but thanks to my friend Pat and Andy ‘68mannix’ I was able to add this little jem to my quickly diminishing yard of cars. Though it’s a little ruffer than most I’ve worked with, I’m sure I can do something with it. Didn’t think that one would sell. Big project. What are the details on it?
