Hi everyone...I'm in florida so as long as I have power, I'll try to get back to my commentors! My dilemma is gear patch. I have a brand new setup that I put together (and it's my first time) with gears, suregrip, bearings and seals. If I can load my pics, I can show the marks on the gears for opinions. The BL is .008 and the preloads and torques are done. What does everyone think?

I think I would run the pinion in a few thou. maybe 2 or 3 tops, just to see what it looks like.

Make sure you use the right preload on the pinion every time you check it.

If the results don't match the theory, change the theory.

Take a look at the attached instruction sheet.

I find the pattern images on p14-15 to be very easy to interpret.
