Looking for molded top radiator hose that works with a 440 motor and a 27" griffin radiator. Factory hose for 26" radiator doesn't fit Wondering if anyone out there has come across this? Don't really care for the flex hose that's on it now. Thanks for the help.

Might be worth a trip to the local parts place with the car or a bent up welding rod that mimics the needed contour's. IF possible take both wink

basically that is what I did originally.
I took measurements on where each bend was and went to the parts house and just pulled down hoses till I found one that would work.
I had to cut off parts of it to make it fit. like one was right for the bends except it was too long and went past the rad support, cut that and it worked fine.
or the lower needed a 45 degree bend to make it work and I found a hose I could cut for that.

more recently I redid all the hoses and used the silicone hoses instead.
I could order each bend exactly as I needed it and used the aluminum join pieces to make it work.
still had some length stuff to cut, but didn't have to fight to find what I needed.
had to use 2 different places to get all the parts, since some of my ends weren't the same size.
was pretty expensive compared to an off the shelf hose, and hose clamps in the middle aren't that pretty, but it is a tighter system that way.

Parts stores around here carry less inventory it seems now adays. It would help knowing what side the radiator inlet was on (right side?) and assume it is 1.5" inlet?

I had this issue with a 70 B body with 22" left side inlet. Had to go to a later model A body style and trim. There are no molded to fit versions available anymore other than the reproduction stuff at much higher cost.

Just an FYI: Rock auto shows several upper hoses for SB or BB without A/C or extra cooling which assume would be 22" I have used their numbers to try and cross reference at the local parts stores with pretty good success wink beer

Went down that route, and the contential was not correct. Others are the flex hose. But yes moving to a different year and vehicle does show some that can be made to work.

Appreciate all your input. I took a clothes hanger and bent to shape of the flex hose that is on it now. Went to napa, advance auto, and autozone. Couldn't find anything close.. Ordered a factory hose for 26". Too short. Thought some here may have had the same issue. I'll keep looking. Thanks again.

Sometimes is easier to take the car and they will usually let you take the hoses out to eyeball the fit. Having done this hundreds of times for customers cars, i sometimes will grab 5-10 hoses using the wire method, then ho back to the shop and trial fit using one end or the other. hey will twist and flex a bit so the trial fitting atthe shop usually works best. PITA but I hate ribbed hoses beer
