here's my new '88. V6 5 speed OD. a/c and working cruise. got the bird bath and front bumper swapped. I've got rust free doors to go on, and panels from Scratch to fix the bed. will get a warmed over 318 someday.

a buddy had a set of these factry wheels laying in his garage for a few years. I asked him the other day about them for the shortbed. he scrapped them with some other stuff.....

latest addition to the family

went to look at one and ended up with three
all are diesel/5-speed>>>lots of parts..

got the flat bed ready
clean-up, paint,
u-joints, clean/pack front bearings
brakes all the way around, tires
change all fluids and filters
removed the "welded-on" side tool boxes
bump up the timing

got to fix the scrape/dent in the lower door, then paint also

got my good doors on, and some general tinkering.

This is for my son... 318 4bbl auto, tilt, criuse, factory air...with 71k original miles...looks a lot better now than when I got it...

I like it. Good friend of mine recently finished rebuilding his, body work, sound sys, interior, 440 with his own FI system and 727 with OD. Uses it to pull a 36 or 40' enclosed trailer. Runs 80 mph in OD with no problem.
I have seen one on rt 127 in Tenn in a front yard. Looks like it might be for sale, but no sign on it. It will need some body work as it does show wreck damage. Been sitting there for several years.

Got it this weekend for $1,700.00. Running & driving, tagged & inspected, new tires, new headers & exhaust, performer intake and eddy carb. Spare windshield, gooseneck ball and frame hitch too.

Bought new a 1990 Ram 150 Club Cab, long bed. Had a 5.2 with a 518od. Put 350,000 miles on it to the fall of 2010. It was silver and red. Only did normal maint. & had the tranny rebuilt & beefed in 2010. Spotted and bought a '96 red and silver Ram 1500 with a 5.2 and 518od. Standard cab, long bed. My wife got hit on the passenger side of it when some guy wasn't paying attn. & pulled out in a hurry. Just waiting now to see how it's going to go, if they'll fix it or total it. They're looking at the age & est. Truck, even with the damage is still a good one. Needs a rf fender, passenger door & assoc parts. Been real pleased with both of them. Both tow an open car trailer & about anything else we want. 17-18 mpg on the highway with the bed full without the car & trailer.
