Pretty much what the post implies. Let see some pics & specs of everyone's trucks. I don't have any of mine just yet but I have three. I have an 04 Ram 1500 Reg Cab Long Bed (stock otherwise exhaust & drop-in filter), 90 Dakota Vert with Cragar SS Wheels (stock otherwise), & 79 Lil Red Express (stock).
Every picture you post of that truck has the big red stand thing in the background that makes it look like part of the truck! I remember the last pic you posted of it from the other lane, and other side of the track, and it had that giant red thing in the background!
That one still has the red thing. Maybe this one. I was a AF Lt. once also but that was 26 years ago. Went from MSgt to SMSgt to 2 Lt. in 23 days. Fast burner huh.

Crappy picture. 95 2500, 5.9 V8, 4.10 Dana out back, extended cab and an 8ft bed. Longest truck I have ever owned. I call it the "War Horse" since it has 250K and still going strong. Runs like a new truck, but it needs paint bad!!
Mine is sitting in the driveway, interior is under going a major clean and paint, seat is out being redone.. I think I'm going to try the roller paint job like what is shown in the Q&A forum...
Mine, when we first picked it up in Feb, this year.
Since then, updated to 360 magnum, rewired some under the hood, has fiberglass tonneau cover painted to match interior (tan), new LaCarra leather steering wheel, repainter door panels, still have to repaint the dash, redid the exhaust--for now, still looking to get $200 for those god awful wheels
Got some new pics
Fiberglass tonneau cover almost finished painted.
Magnum 360 engine swap all in and running finally, will have stock injection back on it when i figure that out.
New Lacarra leather steering wheel
Repainted door panels with body color door pulls....hey, anyone want to donate me some window cranks?
My 3 pigs. 96 Dakota, 318, 5 speed, nitrous, getting close tot he track. 67 D100 short wide 318, auto, no set plans other then getting it very low. And my 06 Ram Hemi bone stock and staying that way.
89 W-150 318/727, Dana 44 front axle, 9.25" rear. 31x10.50 Cooper ATRs on Cragar chrom Soft 8 wheels. Soon to be painted back to stock blue with silver bumpers.

23 days? how did that work? cool deal!
what was it like to go from being a SNCO to junior CGO? did people treat you any different? was it at the same base, and if so, how was the relationship between you and the other officers, and between you and the enlisted guys you were just hanging out with? that's got to be an intersting dynamic!
My 1979 Macho Power Wagon, T-code 360 and a ton of factory options, currently my daily driver. Also my X 79 LRE, this was my daily driver until about 2 weeks ago when i sold it.
This is my baby, a 79 LRE that ive been restoring to better then new on my spare time, its a complete frame off resto, I rebuilt the motor, and had the tranny redone, being a Texas truck it was completly rust free (even the bottom of the rad support) so i didnt have to deal with panel replacement or patching. I also stripped it to bare metal. Slowly but surely its getting there.
86 1 ton 4x4 Red with white center band. 360-727 NP205 and Dana 60 Front and rear 88 ľ 4x4 Red 318 –727 NP208 87 “Rod Hall Signature Edition” Truck. 360-727 NP208 and yes the stripe, roll bar and lift is STOCK…..
was that truck at carlisle this year in the swap secion, looks familar.... Also, here is one of the famious 1979 dodge PALOMINO's.....
That picture does the truck no justice!! That thing is gorgeous in person. How many of those do you have on the Palomino Ranch???? I seem to remember 6.
here's mine. came out of the paint shop 6 weeks ago and thought it would just be a few days to get it back together. the way work is going its going to be spring before i finish it. 78 BB shortbox

Thanks to all who have replied to this thread thus far. I don't have my computer yet as I have just moved to Indiana so I'm using a library computer. Keep the replies & pics coming if you got them.
Here's the latest to be added to my collection bought it of ebay 2 weeks ago, 78 d code 440 4x4 , truck has deffently been rebodied looks like a 75 cab & the frame #s don't match the door ..oh well it was priced right. Also picked up a 72 400 4sp 4x4 LWB snow fiter have to bring that home next week
Quote: Here is my Daily Driver 1984 W350 Crew Cab Short Bed 360/NP435/205 Dana 60's W/4.10's 37" SSR's
The 37's aren't on it in the pic, are they?? They look a little shorter.. What kinda mileage ya get with that set up? Let me know when you decide to sell it..
KatFish no not in that pic those are 36" Hummer Tires I replaced the Tires with SSR's & the rims with 16x10 MickyTompson Sim-Locks & its not being sold any time soon but im going to be doing a Cummins conversion This pic has the new rims & tires but is from when I swaped out the bed
4406RR, AWESOME TRUCK DUDE!!!! Makes me wanna get my 86 fixed up all the more! Hope mine looks half as good as yours! Need more details...engine, wheels/tires,
I had the car at the nats but these pictures were taken at Monster Mopar Weekend in St. Louis. The car took 1ST. I did not have the interior finished yet in the truck. I will take some pictures of the interior and post them. It is lowered 2" in front and 3" in the rear the wheels are 20" torque thrust 2's 20x8 in front 20x9.5 rear.
Here is mine again. Workin' it a little bit yesterday. What you don't see in the picture is the 3 ft. round hole in the ground. I just had to take the picture because I was actually surprised it pulled the stump out... considering all the trouble my neighbor had with his old JD backhoe on the other stumps.
WOW, a bunch of nice trucks here! I spend way too little time on the truck forum! Here's pics of my projects.
1964 Fargo D100 Sweptline shortbed...very low production. Has claimed to be 1 of 2 that were sold new in Finland. Originally 170 (for ultra-economy applications as the original brochure states, LOL) 3-sp, will be a big block automatic someday. The project has been idle for years due to a bodyman that wasn't quite up to the job to say the least. Need to find a bed and maybe even a cab...
1964 Dodge D100 CSS Sweptline Originally 225 3-sp, the original drivetrain is gone, I will replace that with a '64 413 and '62 PB TF727. Looking for a transmission and the Dart seats, most other parts are there. Currently waiting shipping in SoCal, hope to drive this one soon!
1970 Dodge D300 car hauler 318 4-sp Dana 70 Planning to upgrade with a 413 or 440, the 318 is a bit marginal. This truck seems to have a drag racing history, maybe a racecar hauler since new? If anyone remembers the truck please PM me! It was white from the factory and it is my plan to return it that way.
I have had a bunch of them, but here's my 66 D100 "Race Truck". Currently sporting a /6 auto, I'm modifying the engine to be the equivelant of 3 Harley Screaming Eagles, just to see what happens! Then, I'll drop in the Aussie Hemi six. The truck is a total junker, but the exterior sheet metal is good, so that's why I bought it!

Re: Lets See Your Trucks - 12/02/0609:18 AM
Hey all fellow Mopar freaks. Here is my '91 Ram Van.
I bought the most Butt Ugly truck in the world last April and have been putting it back together and collecting parts for it since...
I have collected all the parts to get some lights in it for some night driving... My buddies think it's best that I only take it out at night when no one can see it...
I ripped some plywood to replace the bed that didn't exist...
My home made wiring harness got it running so I could get it around the block...
This is in the works for next summer...Yep that's a Hemi going in there...

I was wondering the same thing. I don't think it's ugly at all, man. If I had the means I would ask if you would want to sell it. I've got a 54 2 ton that's an orginal Hemi truck. It's the only Hemi that got that does run.
My truck is a late 1955 3/4 ton long box. The early '55 has a flatter windshield and the late '55 has the curvy windshield. In '56 Ma Mopar went 12 volt. I'm half converted from 6v to 12v. Gotta make sure not to turn on the wrong thing or it'll be smokin...
You guys have to admit that it has a face only a mother could love!!!
Yea Haw...4 on the floor...you old granny you...
I have always been the black sheep of the family...
Robbins...did I miss it or did you post a pic of your '54. I love those big trucks. Is it a flat bed with dually’s??? 241 Hemi or bigger???
Quote: Robbins...did I miss it or did you post a pic of your '54. I love those big trucks. Is it a flat bed with dually’s??? 241 Hemi or bigger???
No I haven't posted any pictures of it. It has no bed at the moment and yes it's the dually with the 2 speed rearend that still works. It has no brakes what so ever. I thought about painting it the same color as my car and puting an aluminum roll back and hauling my car with it. It does have the low deck motor in it. Where the numbers are supposed to be on the motor they are gone. I know it's a low deck Dodge cause a 318 dizzy dropped right in and works perfectly. So it's a 241 or 270. My 392 swallows the little valve covers on it.
I was working on this thing (at a snail's pace)for a while:
Cheapo rebuilt the 318 (with perfromer RPM, Holley 600, summit type cam), had the tranny rebuilt (not cheapo), mounted an external cooler and filter for the tranny, modified the fuel sender for 3/8" line, ran a 3/8" line, put a modern alt on the engine, ripped out the wiring, when I saw this one for sale:
So I got it, because it has no side windows. Now, I'm building the wiring harness on the living room floor of a cramped appartment, and when my buddy's lift is free, we'll switch the drivetrains and sell the two-tone. 4 wheel disc brakes are next.
Here is the '85 Beast...not even close to what I want it to be...but the again they are never really done are they?!?!?!

Re: Lets See Your Trucks - 12/19/0605:02 PM
Here is another one...Talk about parts interchange...the body is an '85, the motor is a '78, axles are a '79, seats are a '97, and door panels are from a '72...Just me or does a Johnny Cash song come to mind....one piece at a time...
Man, there's some nice trucks posted here! I don't have very many digital pics of mine, but here's one from the track. I drive it back and forth to the track, and switch to the street legal slicks when I get there.
Like to hear more about your 97 seat install 85 Beast. We should start a new thread for interior. What did you do for seat belts?
Magnum... The seat install was pretty easy...I don't remember for a fact, but I think I used a couple of the stock mounting holes. The others I just drilled out. At the time I was in a hurry, so I used 3" pipe spacers from Home Depot to make the difference from not having a level floor. I wasn't able to mount the center of the seat since the holes ended up right on top of the transfer case...but there has never been a problem with the seat shifting at all. For the seatbelts, those are also from a '98, and I just bolted them in the stock locations. If I ever re-do it, I think I would go with the newer style seats that have the integrated seatbelts.
That truck is just bad! ... and welcome to the board.

These are our 2003 twin 2500 4x4's. Cathi built hers online and printed out the sheet and handed it to me and told me to get her a better price. So I went to Autoway and asked if we could have it times 2. I didn't change a thing as she had every option I wanted. She got the HEMI with a 5sp manual tranny and 4:10 posi. I put a body lift and leveling kit on them myself and we obviously put wheels and tires and some chrome. They also have the Volant cold air intake system.

Re: Lets See Your Trucks - 01/03/0711:02 PM
We have actually stumbled out to the wrong truck and stuck the key in and it didn't work. That's a sure sign you have the wrong truck. She has a tag on the front of hers that says "Not His!" Her trailer hitch plug says "Remove to tow Ford" and mine says "Remove to tow Chevy"
Her blue Duster's front tag says "Not his, either!"
Quote: I sold it to a guy in West Virginia. May be there now,I dont know??

Chris Just as I finnished this one, Koffels came out with theirs. I was (at the time) shooting for the fastest drag P/U in the nation but they beat me to the punch(first and faster)At the time -1989- the fastest recorded drag truck was 11.30's. I guess I can try with my current truck, I dont know who or what the quickest ET p/u is any more. The new truck (see previous posts)is 2100HP at 2600lbs so she'll move pretty quick. Oh, Koffels truck (black over Red)was in '89 trim and did wind up in Sweden Bill
Rick I'll have to scan some of the build process pic's I have and E mail them to you. The chassis was pretty simple in the'79 truck (and worked very well)It was a 2X3 "A" Arm/Ladder bar set up. I build Drag Chassis ( W.I.N. Racing & Custom Automotive) to support my drag addiction. If you were closer we could work something out but ... Anyway I'll get some pic's together and send them off Bill
Here's mine; 1973 Power Wagon 4x4, 1980 changeover body for now. Will change back to a birdbath hood in the future. Grill is a 1976. A great truck especially now in Joplin where we're covered in ice and snow!
Quote: I agree, very nice. I assume you have it home now? I heard on another thread you were having border trouble---how'd you fix that?
I spoke with Transport Canada and found out that pre 71 vehicles are exempt from any mods. The customs guys at the border didn't have the right information. The second go-round this past Friday, the customs agent phoned the Transport Canada number I supplied and they were informed as to the proper laws. It sucks that it cost me an extra $500.00, but I am happy I got it home. Tom
Rick Actualy none... The short storie is, truck has been done for a while but the motor is just being re-assembled. Most of my friends/customers, well actualy ALL my friends/customers have been riding me to get it done, but working 50ish hrs at primary job and the rest of my time in the shop dosent leave much time for my stuff. I am currently trying to assemble the motor but have run into the issue of poor workmanship by the machine shop that I used. That s why nothing (of mine) gets done around here. When I let others do work for me I usaly get screw'd. So all that being said I have every intention of being out in the spring de-bugging and by late summer hitting the events. The package I have put together should run mid 7's on set on limp, the motor combiation made 2900+ HP but I plan to run thicker head gaskets (.090) to lower the comp ratio to 10.75, only a Mallaroy MagIII and a Bird catcher injector to reduce the HP to an estimated 1800-2100. (525ci/Veney heads/Kuhl 1471, API 2spd trans w/lock up converter.) if all goes well we will start pushing towords the 6's as we progress. The original intent of the truck was to run mid 7's but we all know how that goes. Now that YOU made me put this in print I will have to live up to it - NO Excuses - I'll keep you posted. Bill

Please do....thats gonna be one basty nastard for sure....hmmmm, would be interesting to see your truck and Pete Farbers line up...!!!! I would have to get a plane ticket for that one....best of luck with it...surely sounds doable...!!!!
Rick Thanks for the encouragement.. by the way I just got my crank back from the ballance shop ( too correct the previous shops attempt) so I am planning on assembling the motor this weekend. The customer stuff can wait. Bill
Thanks! The wheels are Eagle alloys that I got on another truck, sizes are 15x10 rear with 275/60 r15 tires, fronts are 14x6's with 205/60 r14's...if I can find some 15x6's or 7's to match, I would much rather have them on the front, but it sure does turn quick with the 14's!...I do have some 15x5 centerlines however, I am afrid they may be just a lil skinnier than needed to be safe...I do use it as a truck!
And yes we have had a wetter than normal winter here this year...the snow that the pic was taken in was what was left of a 14 in snow.... O.G.
No more than it snows here, they would be more trouble than they are worth, changin wheels and tires back and forth!....No traction problems so far. That pic ya posted is serious snow!!! O.G.
Here's my 1977 Warlock truck. Have owned it for 20+ years. Took stripes off years ago and pro-streeted it when it was popular back in the early 90's. Has 440, 727, 4.10 Dana. Used to haul racecar with it. Hasn't been driven much lately, but is a good old truck. 1st time to track took 3rd place in Pro class.
I bought this '68 D100 back in August 2006 and have been working it (slowly!) ever since. It is a custom cab and has the 383, automatic, power steering, and air conditioning. I need to find the evaporator, but the other components are still mounted. (Anybody got an original a/c system for a '68 you'd want to sell?).
The truck runs pretty well, and I'm looking forward to using it as my weekend driver once I get a few little problems taken care of. The body isn't rusty, but it was hit in the left rear, which will take some panel beating.
Overall, a pretty nice old truck that's a lot of fun.

"78 LRT:Work to date includes: Brakes and new master cyl and stainless lines, 727 Transmission by Randy Ray, Firewall cleanup and paint, Edlebrock shocks, new Auburn LS Differential, new engine mounts and install engine, 268 CompCam into 5.7 EFI Hemi Crate, custom headers and exhaust system fabricated to fit (aftermarket headers not available for this application), total new fuel supply system with coated fuel rails for the EFI needs, repaired and painted radiator/front end support panel + more. Exhaust is out for high temp coat.
here is my truck it started out as a 78 fleetside and was my plow truck it was so rusty the cab would bounce off the frame so me and a friend of mine decided to make it roadworthy one spring about 7 years ago I had a real clean 2wd stepside sitting in the yard so we threw this truck together in less than 2 months . with all spare parts that were lying around . this truck was built from start to finish for under $3000 most of that money was for the paint and materials and the 6bbl setup cost a wooping $500.
it now has a 4406 pack motor , 727 wa 3500 stall conv. 410 dana front and rears from a 3/4 ton donor truck ,
it hasnt been off the road for about 5 years now as it cost way to much to drive everyday so it just sits in the garage with the rest of the cars.
My 83.....this weekend the blue tape areas will be missing.......and the top added to in places... I will get some more recent pics, these were taken about a month ago.... O.G.
Thanks to Wagonmaster, this is my latest addition to the fleet. It is an 84 with a /6 833 od. The paint is really rough, and lots of other things need some tlc. With my girlfriend just going thru surgery for colon cancer, it may be awhile before I get much done, but gives me something else to look forward to.

Actually, I goofed, it's an 85....no big deal to me....it will soon be lowered with chisolm lower arms, and a flipped rearend, with a home-fabbed c-notch. I have a set of headers, and a super six intake, so it will see quite a few mechanical changes soon. then it's body time...the paint is how not to paint a truck....window seals all painted, and it has more orangepeel than sunkist! I think it's acrylic enamel, some actually pressure washed off. I am gonna use this one as a driver while I go thru the primered 84 properly. Bill
1973 D100 Adventurer Short bed Utiline. Factory J Code 400 big block truck. Needs to be buffed out but at least it is now little more presentable than it was when I got it. I just love the looks of the 15x8 wheels with the dog dishes.
Quote: I like that grill. Where'd you find that at?
The "ever-hated" AIM Industries. I have a used "4 piece" one available. My crosshairs got scratched in a minor accident so I went with the "1 piece" version. PM me if interested.

Re: Lets See Your Trucks - 04/29/0708:38 AM
Here is my 06 Ram at Daytona Beach last year on vacation.
Here's a picture of my 1987 Dakota. It started out life as a 2.2L w/ 5 speed. After some major surgery, the end result is warmed over 360 motor w/ 727 t-flite. A few mods done are Torker intake, 750 vacuum sec. Holley, Lunati Bracket Master cam, Cheetah forward shift manual valve body, Quarter Stick shifter and a roll cage. This is one fun truck to putt around in. Most of the parts in it I bought from fellow Mopar guys through ads from MOPARTS or e-bay items. Everything else was handmade such as the motor plate, ladder bars and wheelie bars. Thanks for letting me share this with MOPARTS!!
Okay... here's a pic of Lulubelle. She has mounts welded in for a 383/727, and runs fenderwell headers. The engine's out right now for overhaul... spun #6 rod insert and clipped some valves.
See the stock shift handle attached to the ratchet shifter? That controls a reverse-pattern manual VB 727.
On an early shakedown run, I found that the weight of the shifter handle held it pinned against the seat under acceleration. So when I slapped it back - it didn't move. As soon as I thought of lifting... I heard that 'hydroplane with its prop out of the water' sound. Floated valves.
Everyone, want to say thank you again for all the replys to this thread. A lot of nice trucks here. Just want to say keep the replies and pictures coming. Cheers.

It was an awesome truck, but sitting in it was really cramped on my legs....
I remeber it from NYIRP where you used to run it once in a while. You had me steer while you towed it back to the pits once.

Here's one, Joe The Truck! '74 D100, I think the only option boxes the original owner checked were "318 V8", "Automatic", and "Step bumper". If I live to be an old man, I want to be an old man in this truck.
Heres' some recent pics of my 1995 at the track. 414" indy-headed SB with factory NV-3500 stickshift. 8 3/4" spooled rear & McCreary EC-1 treaded bias plys. 1.7 short times, crappy shifting, and then 12.2's at 116mph. Need a real transmission to get the power to the ground.
Here's an early video with the 5500rpm chip in the box. Nowadays, i keep the 6800 chip in there.
Here's my 2002 Dakota 5.9 R/T. Changing setups at the moment. It went 11.3@120 with a Paxton supercharged 360, currently building a 425ci R3 with W5 heads and a healthy shot.
Well here goes. This is my 1992 Lil Red Dakota #25 of 69 built and 1 of 6 in Canada. It is all original 32000 kilometers has never seen snow or rain only the sun and the garage since purchased new in 1992 by my father. It has a 318 magnum with the 4 speed auto and 3.91 sure grip. And no I didn't make this myself like most people think,it is a limited production by LER industries for Chrysler corp.Had it appraised last summer at $35500.00
92 D250 intercooled CTD OD A/T A/C 221K mi. I just bought. Had been drug seizure and then narcotics buy vehicle in East Texas. Thinking maybe about setting a 88 RamCharger body I have on it. Would have to cut over a foot out of the frame I believe. Bryce
Here's my '66 d100 shortbox stepside I scored for $450. It has a 1967 318 with an np435 4 speed and outback there's a dana 60 w/ 4.10'gears. 8 lug wheels. I need an outside door handle for the drivers side If anyone can help. Gotta love 60's dodge trucks! I want to experiment with lowering the truck, never done one before.
My daily driver. I've got 65k miles on it now. My first diesel and love it. I was always a SB Mopar guy but I don't think I would go back to a spark-ignition engine. I've averaged 18.8 MPG with it since new. Usually about 17.5 MPG on the daily commute and 20+MPG on the highway.
heres my 2 trucks, the first one is my 05 Ram 2500 Cummins, strait 5 inch into 6 inch stacks, AEM bruteforce intake, banks high ram intake, Edge with the juice programer, southbend clutch, 35in Micky MTZ, on 17 inch Micky Classic 2's, and the other is my work truck hauler, its a 08 Ram 3500 all stock just 3 weeks old....
Just had to show some updated photos of mine from this past Saturday. In the second photo, no we were NOT bracket racing. That's my .079 light to his .414 light. LOL...
The stickshift is gone and now it's sporting a 904 & 4500 stall converter. 12.20's at 116 have been replaced with 11.teens @ 119mph.
Hey thanks, but The trucks belong to Gus Rodriguez. All I do is wrench on em and Drive em The yellow truck has not been down the track yet, but I think we are going to shake it down this weekend. I just finished installing the 605" Koffels power plant in it. We had the Koffels' Blown 529' motor in it but I liked the idea of (((BRUTUS)))) in the purple/yellow truck instead.. The Ex-Pro Stock truck has been the best of a 4.78 in the 1/8. We did that last year with 1 (small) fogger kit with Koffels' 605 cu.in. POWER I have had 2 shake down passes in the new BRUTUS in the Prostock ride. I will keep you guys updated..
Here are 2 of my babies! First a 1992 W350 club cab, 5spd with 3.54 and a anti-spin rear with a complete set of isspro guages and a set of lucas injectors along with some Banks goodies! Its right out of Texas with 148k on it know.
Second is a 1992 Canyon Sport (minus the red grille because of a damn deer) with a 5.2, auto, homemade grille guard, 3.54 ratio (soon to be a 3.07 out of a 1990 deisel), 2 1/2" lift, true dual exhaust with cherry bomb extrem mufflers, a carr light bar with 4 6" KC daylighters, 32/11.50/15 BFGoodrich allterrains. I am looking for a low mileage 5.9 out of a 1993-96 truck, dakota, jeep,or van! And a replacment (red) grille. Any help, Robert moparman111@msn.com
Thank you Working on dual quads on tunnel ram. Gears. Wider rear wheels(any one know of someone in western PA that can do that). Tubs. Full digital dash. Pushbutton shifting. Different side mirrors. And?
My favorite is my 1980 D-150. Bought it as a commuter, It's Med metalic blue with light blue interior and has a slant 6, 4-speed o/d, and is 100% rust free and strait This summer I'm giving her a frame off resto.
This "WAS" my 77 W-150 I bought off of ebay. I drove 18 hrs round trip to pick her up and was very happy with it until a guy offered to trade the following truck for her. I might try to buy this one back
This is my current daily driver. 79 Macho power wagon, 360/auto, tuff wheel, and bucket seats. It's medium canyon red. I plan to give a resto in 2 or 3 years.
Just brought this one home yesterday for a bit over $500. Not sure why but thought it was the right thing to do it's a 71 D-100 318/auto and has RAT ROD written all over it
This is my 76 B-100 shorty sportsman it's original paint and strait as an arrow bought it for $306 on ebay from a guy 2 blocks down the road. Not sure why "again" but I think it will be a cool shop truck when I open my Dodge Truck shop
Also not pictured is our 05 Silver Hemi quad cab Ram but they are like belly buttons........ and my 54 F-100 I let go this summer
My "new" truck. '98 24 valve CTD, bought it off ebay from Arizona. Looks like it's never seen rain. Gets 3X the gas mileage the old pig got. I pull an 8,000lb trailer with it.(my Dart)Lots of nice trucks on here!
GMC Sonoma ZQ8 4/6 drop aswell...I was T-Boned in it a month after that picture. It is almost done and it now is a step side, and a 6.0L LS1 is sitting in the shop corner waitin to go in
This is my 1979 dodge shortbed my youngest daughter went to Texas and went junkyard to junkyard and bought this piece by piece. She brought it back to Ia. and I had to put it together. The motor is a standard bore 360 with a purple shaft cam, a set of 1.88-1.60 J heads,a holley strip dominator intake with an 870 Demon carb and home built tri step hedders (1 5/8 to 1 3/4 to 1 7/8) with a 3" collector and 36" hedder extensions. 904 transmission with a 5500 stall convertor. 8 3/4 471 GEAR WITH 9' BY 29.5 Mickey Thompson Tires. Truck weighs 3450 with me in it and runs 11.70s at 110 MPH.
This is my other 1979 Dodge truck which is a longbed. I bought it new in 1979 and have raced it since 1985. It has won 1 track championship and 1 IHRA Division 5 stock eliminator championship. It has ran stock eliminator since 1991 in both NHRA and IHRA. It has held 18 national et and mph records in both NHRA and IHRA and won class at numerous NHRA and IHRA national events. It has also been # 1 qualifier at numerous NHRA and IHRA divisional and national events. It was built to run FT/SA AND ET/SA stock originally but in NHRA they cut the truck classes so it now runs J/SA K/SAL/SA and M/SA. IT HAS RAN AS FAST AS 12.23 AT 108 MPH IN ET/SA with a 265 hp 360 and at 3880 lbs.
i have a 1990 dodge 150 that started as a 2wheel drive then got bigger, it now is 4 wheel drive and has 7 inches of total lift, its rollin on 35's but could fit bigger, im runnin a 360 4sp, posi rear open front. its pretty much a street truck.
this is my 77 org. super six 4 spd. in the process of puttin a 318 in it as we speak

This is mine a few years ago, 383, 727, 8 3/4 w/ 3:55 gears. It was my Rustang killer. It's amazing what a wife and three kids can do to ones truck budget.
Here is my '68 shorty, bought off of Ebay, from Bakersfield California. Just had it delivered to the Montana/Alberta border this weekend. And after a nice sunny drive down to pick it up, it snowed like crazy as I took posession of it!
And that California truck didn't like the snow at all!
The proud owner, just before heading to Customs for a few hours of waiting!

Re: Lets See Your Trucks - 02/26/0805:39 AM
Here's my 74 D100 step. It is an 80's custom I bought off a girl that had it for 26 years. Expected the floor rust on pass side but not the roof line. Just picked up a 318 to replace the 6. Going to throw a cam and headers in for 'THAT' sound, it's a daily driver doesn't need to be fast. The roof is going to be gutter free, should be slick.
My '85 that flew off the trailer on the way home after buying it do to a headon and rollover Was rust free. The only bad was hail dents, dent in the pass fender bad motor and no title. I was going to get a bonded title and I have a cop 318 thatsslightly warmed but thanks to the good people of moparts (moparJamie) Ive got a replacement lined up. Thanks MJ
I really think your truck looks awesome the way it is but than again Ive never had "Nice" and Im use to 50s primered HotRods. Dodge Trucks and 40s 50s Ford cars are my passion. Good luck on your truck.
Quote: Heres mine its rough but I'm working on that.
I like it, to me it has great character. If i had something like that, id leave the look and go all out on the engine (performance/looks)---that'd be the perfect canidate for a hemi swap---new, old, or in between.

Hahaha yeah thats a sweet lookin truck, I would say leave the outside and make that thing drag tailgate
Here is my new truck. It is a 2007 Ram 1500 Quad 4x4 in Detonator Yellow. Also equipped with the buckets with the console, sunroof and rear power sliding window. So far I love it.
Quote: Pretty Little Guy...... what did you do with the exhaust?
Haven't finished it yet---work has been killing me. Literally work, eat, sleep, repeat. I'll update through my shortie header post when i get there though.
Looking for a nice DODGE RAM '72-'98,V8 2WD SHORT BED Went to look at a '79 utiline? after work today. drove over there was gone ..... there is a few others around trying to keep eyes open, checking ebay, iwanna, craigs looking to purchase late april or early may when I get my 'STIMULUS" check.
Heres my 65 swepty I bought 2 years ago.I have since black primerd and fixed the major dents ,and rusty floors and rockers.Ive got a 383 /727 to replace poly /4speed,and an 85 independent front clip.soon to go under the knife.
Here is mine, It looks ugly, but for $300.00 6 years ago I have gotten a lot use from it. '76 318 4 spd granny geared. 84,000 on the clock. Runs great, good parts hauler. Will start looking for sheet metal, after I finish a couple other projects.
Mine is an '05 2500 Quab Cab, diesel, automatic, 4x4, short bed with a Bully Dog programmer set to Tow/Economy, K&N air filter and 5" exhaust turbo back. I get 18 plus mpg going back and forth to work, 24 plus mpg highway and 16 plus pulling a trailer with a car or tractor on it.
I just picked up this one a month ago 15 miles from home I'm converting it to a cummins truck with a US gear OD. was a 440 truck with 4.10s D60 front. 71k orig miles.
Here's a few pics of my 1986 Dodge Power Ram, 4x4 short box, automatic, factory a/c. Just completed 2 year project, installing 440, bored .030 over, 440 source forged components, chrome tunnelram, 410 posi gears,727, Warn select 4x4. Interior covered in Brazilian leather, including dash. Bench seat replaced with matching leather buckets. Steering wheel my personal design, polished billet one piece, finger grips front and inside and sitting on a Flaming River Chrome Tilt column. Painless wiring, all glass and chrome trim new. I have a few items left to complete but wanted to share my pride and joy. I have many more pics available on request@ flfencemaster@yahoo.com. Oh, by the way guys this truck needs a new home. Re: Lets See Your Trucks - 05/23/0812:32 PM
Bought this 04 Ram 2500 4X4 Cummins 48RE new December 27, 2003. Has 65,000 miles on it now. Stock except for Edge EZ which I keep set on Level 4, box has been on the truck for almost 60,000 miles. Made 325 hp and 625 tq on a chassis dyno. Actually cheaper to tow one of my cars to a show than drive the car, because the Ram gets better mileage towing the car than the car will get on its own. And for getting junk cars out of the woods, in 4-low it will yank a junker out of the dirt better than a diesel tractor (well, at least one diesel tractor).
Bought from the original owner, he custom ordered it with three fuel tanks. It has cruise and A/C and on 92 octain it can get 14 mpg highway. I love the truck, but it will have to go.

Hi there, im new to the site and i drive a 1992 Dodge Power ram W-150 with a 318 multi-port F.I. magnum, NV4500 transmission, all with some goodies. I plan on a 390 stroker to it. My computer keeps freezing when i upload them to here so please click on my car domain page. The 1st pic on there is right when i bought it. enjoy!
Mine, fresh from New Mexico. Waited almost 3 months on a carrier before hiring one from the board here. Looking for some grille inserts, a straight front bumper, some tail light lenses and chrome bezels to name a few things. Planning a fuel injected 318 Magnum 5spd swap and lowering.

Hello everyone, I just joined up. Lots of nice Dodge trucks here. Here's a pic of my toy. It's a 69 Adventurer that I converted to 4X4. It's got a mostly stock 440/727. It was a very nice original truck, 318/727, when I got it over ten years ago, and only recently had it's first paint job. I've added p/s and p/b, and replaced all of the trim with NOS pieces. The axles and transfer case are from a 70 truck and are all rebuilt.

Hey theres that beauty again , I love your truck. I saw it on sweptline org. Its Andy (pismopowerwagon) How are you ?
92 D-150 2wd/shortbed, original owner/ garage kept/ not driven in winter, 5.2 Magnum(318) 4 spd auto. A/C 102,000 miles: Summit shorty headers, 3 inch single exhaust with Flowmaster 40 muffler, M/P computer. K&N filter, Throttle body spacer, Accel coil, 4.10 suregrip rear( came with 3.55 open) best E.T. 15.19 at 88 mph, average mid to low 15s. Winner P/U truck Challenge at Island Dragway 2 of last 3 years, R/U the other
04 Ram 1500 quad cab, 5.7 Hemi, 3.92 gears, 17" wheels, aftermarket leather interior, Mopar Performance hitch, bedliner and nerf bars. Has superchips program and cold air intake. No other engine mods. Has not given me much trouble, have 65K miles on it now. I like it alot, just wish it had about 200 more HP.
Thinking about upgrading to a diesel, but hate to get rid of it. Don't have much call for a diesel except for a few months in the summer. May just buy a used diesel and keep this one.
My next baby is a 1989 D150, 318, 2.53 gear, with 240,000 hard miles. At least 100K of that is towing miles. My friends nicknamed it the "Race Truck" because I towed at 80mph with it and beat most of them driving cars back from Carlisle and the Nats repeatedly. I think it's lived so long because the 318 never had enough horsepower to hurt itself.
No tranny cooler, just a brake box and a hitch. Knock on wood, she hasn't given me much trouble, just a few a/c compressors, one starter and a cat. converter, I threw away.
Bought it with 50K miles on it and will probably be my 10 year olds first vehicle.
'68 D300, former CP dealership tow truck; one owner/former 318 now getting a fresh 440, rebuilt NP435 and the rebuilt D70 w/3.73 and powr-lok. Set-up for towing 5th wheel trailer(s), both vacation and enclosed car-type. Should tow nicely AND maybe get 12-16 mpg, we'll see shortly!
Here are mine. Sorry it was the only way I could get it to show the Pic.

Nice truck. Don't be dissapointed if it doesn't get quite that much gas mileage. I have a 69 4X4, mild 440/727 with 3:55s and 33 inch tires, got about 11 on the last trip. I like that 56 Plymouth wagon in the background. I know this is a truck forum but I'd like to see some pics of that.

Re: Lets See Your Trucks - 08/15/0808:42 PM
Wow my truck with it's little 318 sure doesnt seem worthy to this thread yet. Where do you guys find these big engines?
“…….Where do you guys find these big engines?.......”
I got lucky and found mine in a local junk yard. I found out after the fact that it was one of 70 2WD Utiline Shorbeds with a 440 that Dodge built in 1976. (Still has the original engine.)
Here's the "Grey Beast". It's been a good truck. I don't think I posted it before but it is finding a new home this Friday. All of my Mopar friends in the area have owned it. It started life a solid southwest truck, with a pushbar and a 3" lift. It's a D150. It ran with a built 318 for a long time and has embarrassed quite a few nice musclecars and corvettes. One of the last mighty things it did was pull itself out of the lake, valve cover deep with a boat and trailer attached to the back.
i got this truck in gainsville tx, its a rust free truck im building a pro street out of it ,put a 340 drag motor i built a year ago ,painting it 2008 dodge tangereen kinda a coper color kinda rare truck got big back glass short step bed 6ft no spare tire cut out in finder and the neat modgular type dash that i customized with dulphin gage"s
here is my project. it's a 1964 w200 with a 71 box and front clip. it has a 273 with a 4 speed. it will have hummer tires with aluminum slots and an updated interior with later model dodge seats. hoping to get it painted yet this fall in bright blue.
Ok, had a guy (Andrew) from New York stop buy our store who is a BIG youtube guy and just loves cars all kinds. Here is a video of my 76 stepside.....shoulda let it warm up all the way....
Heres my 1985 D-100. Body work was done this past August. Used to be manual steering truck, upgraded to power steering. Sure grip 8 1/4 with 3.55. Slant Six 4 speed truck.
I have a 90 dakota sport with a 360 magnum,air gap intake,650 d/p,mopar performance headers,727 trans,PTC 9.5 converter,8.8 rear end w/3.73s it run mid 13s and is a blast to drive

beautiful truck. are those factory wheels? a buddy has a set of those wheels that came off his mom's '85 I was thinking about getting for mine. What kind of centers do the wheels have? he doesn't have any. Thanks

Thanks for the compliment. Yep, those are factory wheels. I had them sandblasted to take off the original clear coat so now they are just the raw aluminum. The center caps are factory caps from my mom's 1990 2wd Ramcharger. Hers had steel slotted wheels. I think they look way better than the original caps that came on the wheels in 85.

I basically found the truck with a good running slant six and faded paint. There was some surface rust and a little bubbling over the fenderwell on the box. Over the summer I had it looking like this....
Anymore questions or want to see more pictures....just let me know

yeah, can I have your bed? mine suffers from the "swiss cheese" effect. love to see some close ups of the wheels, and anymore you have of the truck. I traded my '86 W100,33" tires, 4" lift for this a couple months ago. /6,4 speed OD. 120,000 miles, no smoke, doesn't use a drop of oil. the truck is pretty solid, except for the bed. I keep fiding nice beds, good prices, just mostly on the west coast, and gotts get Christmas taken care of first.
" /6,4 speed OD. 120,000 miles, no smoke, doesn't use a drop of oil. "
That truck is just now broken in. The 84 I had with that drivetrain combo went to over 390k and I had to scrap it with a running engine. The body rusted so bad it was falling in half, but it always started.
Here is my newest one 2005 Cummins With Banks six gun, DVD player, sunroof, leather navigation radio, Banks triple gauges, handheld CB radio, power retracting tonneau cover, rhino bed liner, 6 disc cd player, Game system switch, K&N filter intake system, Banks High Ram intake, 18" Weld EVO wheels, 325/60/18 BFGoodrich tires,
I also have a 95 Ram Sport 4x4, and a 78 Lil Red Express along with a 1926 American Lafrance And Yes They are All RED!
Don't laugh but this is my BABY. 85 1ton non dually. My grandfather baught this back in 86 and drove it back and forth to Chrysler everyday. Then my Dad got it and he gave it to me. It just turned over 100k miles. I aslo took out the 360 and put a 440 in it.
1964 D100 HPP - 426 SW, Push Button Auto, factory duals, rear axle traction bars, HD Gauges with 6K tach, power steering.
repowered with 69 440 and a purple cam with many subtle mods including disc brakes, front sway bar, later style drum rear, ron francis wire harness and gauges modernized by Redline Gauge works...
truck was purchased new by my parents who took factory delivery. i have every piece of paper on this truck since new including original title and build sheet...

Plows like a tank and takes a hell of a beating! I plowed with this truck for 3 years and now have taken it off the road to do a frame off restoration. It still has the NP435 and NP205 set up, but now has Dana 70's front and rear with 4.87 gears. I'm working on replacing the 318 with a 440.
85 short bed 360 bored and stoked. 500 plus hp.small block, plus sprayin 200 shot of nos. 727 with trans break, dana 60 rear with spool and 410 gears dana 44 front open carrier with 410s

Re: Lets See Your Trucks - 02/15/0905:49 PM
I used to have a 79 Power Wagon stepside 4x4. Then I got out of Dodge trucks for a while and into full size Jeeps. I recently acquired a 1977 D100 that belonged to a friend of mine's daddy. The truck was one owner, less then 50k but had been sitting for a few years.
So since the truck was so nice I figured I would restore it. But a buddy of mine down the street is into Mopars and he has a 1976 W100 with a really rough body but a great drivetrain. So I bought that truck from him and am now going to combine the two to sort of recreate my old Power Wagon. (If anyone needs a good rolling chassis in SoCal let me know.)
He also has a 3/4 ton Club Cab that he is about to start stripping. I thought about buying the cab from him to put on my project but I figured it was a lot of work to lengthen the frame and I don't want to shorten the bed... So for the small gain in cab space I would get I am gonna pass on it.
very nice! my first truck was a '77 stepside,\6 4 speed od. unfortulanty years of roas salt were not king to the body and frame. I traded my '68 Power Ram for this last fall. hope to find a decent step side bed this suumer. It's even Red like my '77 was.

Here is my OLD 97 Dodge ram 1500 4x4 . great truck 5.9 it loved gas..
OK, so that one was not inside the paint booth, but thats where it sits now. and here is the color its going to be. It also has a 63 front clip as part of the 67 was damaged.
Power Windows, Power Door Locks, Tilt Wheel, Remote Keyless Entry, Cruise Control, Steering Wheel-Leather Wrapped, AM/FM Stereo, Cassette Player, CD Player, Additional Power Outlet(S), Air Conditioning, Seats-Front Bench-Split, Power Driver Seat, Leather Seats, Mirrors-Pwr Driver, Mirrors-Pwr Passenger, Heated Side Mirrors, Mirrors-W Turn Signals, Mirrors-Vanity-Driver, Mirrors-Vanity-Passenger, Wheels-Aluminum, Fog Lights, Sliding Rear Window, Air Bag - Driver, Air Bag - Passenger, Air Bag On/Off Switch - Passenger, Front Disc Brakes, Brakes-Abs-Rear, Intermittent Wipers
here is my new toy...my Miradas companion. Stock 318-2v, factory 4spd(a833od), 2.93 rear...great cruiser with original black paint plus some added on decals(they will go at some point) that were on it when I bought it. Root
I was going for more of the '77/'78 style with the wheels.I do have a blue stripe around the outside of the wheels that isn't really visible in the pictures..
1986 D250 that i bought new, sold for loan payoff in 1990, repurchased from the same guy in 1994. He'd used it as a farm truck; 1995 a local bodyshop massaged out all the dings, replaced the bed, repainted back to Brite Silver. Replaced the original 318 last summer at 228K with a rebuilt 1987 360 (Edelbrock 1405) 4bbl. Just passed 238K.
My first 4X4. '74 318/727. I learned to rebuild 727s on that baby...Twice! Also the short shaft (between tranny and T-case was either out of balance or bent(???) Couldn't keep U-joints in it, but I wish I would have kept it anyway
This is Tank my daily driver , it has been featured in Petersons Fourwheeloffroad mag twice . Its by no means show just functional rig that will go anywhere anytime . Andy
One that I might save. Very rust but cant tell from pics. Paid way too much for it but I had to we went to Florida to get it. Actually got it for free but I had to pay for fuel
I dont have pics of all of them yet. Down to 15 after the flamed one is gone But I cant fix them all. We have 4 Cars aswell 2 49 Ford fordors a 53 Ford wagon and a 49Plymouth
I've posted pics of my 92 ctd in the past, so heres a few of dads 89 Sno-Commander. He still likes his "in the day rims". Paint is mostly original, it is due for a touch-up this year.
here's My Truck of Many Colors. My Uncle gave me his '87. Been sitting since '04. Doors from my '85, primer Bird Bath,red/gray bed from uncle's '91, and a blue tail gate. 318,MP intake,Carter AVS,and a bigger cam.
I'd leave the paint for a while & do fat & skinny with those hubcaps & ride the bugs & gremlins out before paint. Do you have discs on it yet?. I'm wanting to build one like it only with a 354 Hemi Kinda a cross between the the truck my Dad drove & the one he drove to make his living. With JR's upgrades of course.
It actually needs more than just paint; there's some hurt in the floor on the passenger side, and the bottom of the driver's door is going 'swiss cheese'.
But, apart from that, it's not that bad.
I'm thinking pizza cutters, pie crusts, an original blue (like what's under the hood) repaint with mild pinstriping, and a sixties-style signage painted on the doors (like a shop truck).
And right now, it just has stock 11" drums. But they work okay. They have maybe 2K miles on a complete rebuild; stop the truck pretty well.
FWIW, I've got three sets of calipers, and one set of discs; scrounging parts for a brake swap. But a replacement for that keyed axle rear end comes first.
I think that an early hemi would be a better choice than my big block. Unfortunately, I didn't have one when I started putting the truck together, and got deep into the project before I ran across a 331.
BTW, there were Dodge trucks with the larger (chrysler) hemis that had "Dodge" scripted valve covers. I think 1.5T and up That would be the BOMB...
Pretty sure the factory never put a Chrysler hemi in a dodge but if I remember their industrial was a 310hp 325ci 4bbl that was a serious powerplant! Had one about 15 years ago I was gonna put in a Jeep willy's but wife #1 made me get rid of them. If it weren't for ex's I'd be a millionare now...
I bear to differ on that. My Dad had a 48 model 1/2 ton with a flathead six. I rode in this when I was a kid. My uncle bought when my Dad passed. One of the many JobRated Trucks that He used to haul MOPAR cars to dealers from the factories. The 1st V8 one had a 331 Hemi. The 55 that He bought new had a 354 Hemi. I have pics. My Dad was a camera nut so I have B&W dated pics. I have a pic of that truck with the car that I would eventually come home from the hospital when I was born sitting on top in the front with him standing in front of it & the factory is in the background. December 23rd 1955. I still own the car. A 1956 Tri-Color Coronet Royal. When I was born He came off the road He sold the 1st V8 one & the 354 truck He spotted trailers in his spare time & uesd it to pull stumps. Eventually it was sold & being a kid I couldn't keep up with it. I have pics, when I get to them I'll scan a bunch of them. I have a bunch of photos from the factories in Detroit & Delaware too.
Well I think either dodge or plymouth made a 331 poly but but not a true hemi Okay now I have to do some research. You know what they say about old age.... Uh ... I don't remember.
I have seen, about eight years ago, a 1957 Dodge Fire Truck probably a D500 chassis that had a 354 Hemi in it. It had Chrysler Industrial on the Valve Covers. Bryce

I always like those old Dodge trucks. Killer project.
Here's my 74 W200 plow truck and my newest toy, a 1967 W200. The 67 used to have some sort of a wrecker setup mounted in the bed and a service shop used it to tow cars into the shop. Now it's seeing duty in the local truck pulls and doing pretty well.
I guess its about time I add pics of my '91 Ramcharger to this thread.
I bought it about 2 months ago for $1,000. Everything works (even the AC) except for the OD.
When I first got it, it seemed down on power, assumed it was because of a combination of unknown miles and being a 'smog' engine (pre-Magnum) 318. I pulled the throttle body and gave it a THOROUGH cleaning, then a few weeks later installed fresh plugs, wires and cap........
The plug wires were BAD, but, the difference was like going from a stock four banger to a big block! No, its not the fastest thing on four wheels, but, its a lot faster than it was!
And my mileage has gone up too. The odometer *kinda* works, so I'm not sure of exact mileage, but, driving my usual weekly routine, $20 in gas will last me all week whereas the '02 Ram 1500 with 4.7 I just got rid of, wouldn't make a week on $20. And, I know the '02 averaged 13-14. Could I be getting 15 or a bit better?
I originally planned to just drive it for a while than sell it off, but, I've run into a problem, I REALLY like this truck!! I NEVER liked my '02 as much as I've gotten to like the thing after just two months. Now my brain is trying to come up with ways to justify adding a third vehicle to the 'long term' fleet.
This is my current one. Some of my other favorites that I owned were 78 L'il Red Express Truck, 92 L'il Red Dakota and a 99 R/T Dakota just to name a few.
Thanks man!! Just found this site. I love it!! There are many awesome rides on here! I've been into Mopars since my first one in 78. My dad and Uncle always had them too.
Here is my truck, its a 78 that my grandfather bought new. When he boutht it was some kind of dealer add on truck that said "Southbounder" on the back side of the bed. The truck has been repainted a time or two in its life so the Southbounder stickers are long gone. My intentions for this truck is tubbed, big blocked, interior upgrade, back red with Mopar tail stripe and twin scoops on a later model hood. I hope to start by the end of the summer depending on finances.......or let me say wife letting me spend the finances
I have no idea what that reflection is good eye I did not even see that... I could not belive it either when I saw it that it had 317,000 on it, If I could only find a rear gas tank strap I would drive it more, but the fuel tank hangs down. If anybody has idea where to look let me know.
This is what she takes out in the mountains rockclimbing here in Idaho..
'77 Dodge Power Wagon Stepside W100 360 4bbl, auto Pretty much has everything for the warlock with the split bench and chrome steps, but no pinstripes! We'll never know I guess.
1992 Dodge Dakota 3.9 L 4X4, 4 speed auto highest payload option but standard brakes. Brother rearended an F-250 and won, gave the truck to me for free.
Here's my slammer, she's rough but thats the beauty, you can run into and through most anything you want and cant tell the difference. 318 4 speed sure grip 9.25, just a good old truck!
Here are pics of my 64 Crew Cab. I put a 78 D-200 fame clip on it, 360 out of an 85 ramcharger, power booster and master cylinder off an 86 w-100 and suicided the rear doors. My next big hurdle is figuring out steering and bagging the front.
My 1976 Warlock- owned 12 years- true survivor- original paint- 318, auto, p/s , power disc brakes, factory sunroof- great having access to NOS out of army surplus through the years- great driver- Gonna have to sell to finance my new '69 Dart GT 340 ragtop....
My 1976 Warlock- owned for 12 years- true survivor- excellent driver- original paint with faded pinstripes- 318, auto, p/s, powere disc brakes, factory sunroof-rarely seen on these trucks- Great having access to all the NOS parts coming out of surplus throught the years, Gonna have to sell to finance my new '69 Dart Gt 340 ragtop.......

My 97 with 7" bullhaulers and my girlfriends brothers 02 by the barn both cummins
This is my 1979 D100 short bed we pieced together from different trucks we took parts off from in Texas. My daughter went down there and bought every thing we needed. I built my own rear suspension using a 3 leaf suspension and a cal trac type traction system. It has a 365 small block with 1.88-1.60 J heads and a .600 lift Comp Cam. A Mopar M1 intake and an 870 CFM Demon carb. A Dynamic 5,500 stall converter and a 904 trans and a 4.88 8 3/4 rear gear with 9x29.5x15 Mickey Thompson Slicks. I turn 7,000 Rpm with it. It weighs 3700 lbs. with the roll bar installed and it runs 11.50's at 114 MPH in the 1/4 mile.
Here's my 1985 D350 Ramptruck I purchased this summer .It was on the back lot of a local dealer , at first I thought it was a cash for clunkers trade in but was actually for sale . They were asking $4000.00 for it but they discovered the brakes were bad on it so they let me have it for $2500.00 ! Turns out it just had a bad line that was rubbed through 'cause it was too close to the spring at the rear ... 49.000 miles , 360 4 spd and rare for Ohio -zero rust !
Here's mine i just bought in Sept. It's a '04 2500HD, 29k miles, H.O.Cummins, 4x4, loaded Laramie package, leather. Should be the last truck in my lifetime! Just sold my '98 Dodge 1500 xcab, 2wd, short box with only 55k miles!! Like new condition just as the '04 i just bought!!
wow, I haven't been in this thread for awhile! I should post an update...this is the same truck that is the 2nd one posted in the thread, way back on page 1!!!
specs: 383 stroker, 490 hp, TKO-600, 4.56 Detroit True Trac, 2" front suspension drop, 3" rear suspension drop, fuel cell and battery in the bed. best ET to date 13.9 @ 103 mph. --but only 2 passes at the track, street tires, no traction, and a 4,200 lb truck...
2000 1500 4x4 w/5.9. The only mods are 285/75/16 AT/ko's, 2" level spacers up front, Rancho 9000 shocks, and air bags in the back... Infinity speakers by the previous owner. It's been a good truck 137,000 miles so far.
85 Ram 250 Custom 360-4 4 Speed 4X4 I was given this truck 1 1/2 years ago by my grandfather when my dad (WingedSixBBL)went into the hospital onto what was thought to be his death bed (those who were at carlisle this past year saw otherwise) but any how, my grandfather did this to keep me busy and outta trouble. The truck is originally from Maryland, rolled over back in the 80's my grandfather had bought it at a salvage auction and tried piecing it together himself and continuously failed and just gave up on it. Now fast forward---- i started with the here you go but you'll never be able to fix it i started by taking hood, grille and fenders off to access the engine new battery, rebuilt the rochester carb, headman headers, new starter, new fuel pump, new spark plugs, check the rest over, did some playin and cranking and it finally came to life played with it till i got another cab and prepped it, did the cab swap, made some tools and straightend the core support, started rebuilding and piecing things together from various other parts trucks we had and i got it to where you see now
It now has a little over 228,000 miles on it and runs/drives real well. I did alot of repairs right after I got it, and still have some front end work to finish in the spring but it's pretty darn good for the time being. I recovered the seats with like-new OEM covers and put new Mopar seat foam in, most comment the interior seems almost too nice for a work truck.
Folks who ride in it usually guess it has 60,000 miles or so and it's always fun to show them the odometer.
My convoy the morning after a 1200 mile road trip. I'm really bummed about my CTD because the LF tire threw the tread at 65mph. Did a number on the rocker and door. The rest isn't that bad. My buddy was driving (I was in the Penske with my 09 Journey in tow), and he really did an awesome job of saving it. I thought they were both going to turn over.
Specs -
1998 Cummins Auto Laramie SLT with about 80K on her, 4" stainless Diamond Eye turbo-back exhaust, 5" tip, no muffler, 86ed silencer ring, and an AEM Brute Force intake
1978 318 4X4 RC, 146K miles, 98% rust free, two previous owners, never left Savannah until I got her
My "NEW" 1988 Ram Charger, 318, 2WD. Tons of miles but still runs good. Interior needs a little love. A/C doesn't work.
Plans are to put a set of matching 17*9 Mustang Bullit wheels all around. Put slightly taller tires on, probably 275/60/17's. Lower the back 2" with drop shackle and drive the heck out of her
Quote: I have a 78 power wagon extended cab long bed, replaced long bed with short bed then added 16" to cab. Also replacing quarter glass with 97 dakota flip outs.Engine swapped to 91 cummins 5spd.,changing fire wall made it simple to use all the 91 trucks dash and wiring plus all other components.Truck was then painted sassy grass with reflective strobe stripes, and a challenger flip fuel cap. Will post pics if any one interested.
I have posted my truck on this thread back at the very begining of this but I thought I would add a picture from today of me using my truck as an actual truck. Took the old boat out to the lake for a ride. 1960 Shell Lake Rocket. 1977 Dodge D-code 440 Adventurer SE
my next project, is this original 78 lrx. it came from a shed, the hills of tennessee. after getting it started, the carb let go, and started a sweet underhood fire. the powder extinguisher was used, and saved the truck. replaced the carb with an edelbrock, replaced the wheel cylinders, flex hoses, master cylinder, and shoes and pads, as well as flushing all fluid. got the brakes working great. flushed the cooling system, disconnected the heater, and closed the nipples on the engine. pulled thermostat, and bypass hose, and sealed the bypass nipple with plastic steel, contouring the inside of the thermostat housing, then replaced hose, and added 160 degree thermostat. flushed crankcase, added new filter, and had chassis lubed. new plugs, wires, cap and rotor, along with air filter, and flipped the lid to allow more airflow. threw a toolbox in the bed, 5 gallons of gas, antifreeze, oil, ps and brake fluid, along with some assorted miscellaneous items, and drove from tennessee to florida, visited some friends, then drove florida to texas. total distance was 1990 miles, in a truck that hadnt been driven in 10 years, and had no issues, other than horrible gas mileage.
that was summer 2008, and i've been collecting parts, since then. last summer, i lost a tire, (original 1978 tire, the tread delaminated, on the highway, and shredded the fender and inner, as it disintegrated) and after getting the truck off the highway, i got a loaner spare, from a cool old guy, somewhere between dallas and mineral wells. got four cheapies, and have added another 5000 miles since getting it home. looking for a 408 crank, and assorted engine parts, to nail down the last bits, and i'll start the teardown in july.
My latest edition 86 4x4 Shortbox 318. Needs tinkering with. Got it to fire but either out of gas or clogged or break in fuel line. Starts off gas poured down carb. Paid $300
Ok being a newbe here I'm still figuring out the site. Here's a pic of my 83 D100 short bed as I bought it and believe me it was a silk purse made from a sow's ear! It has a 77 360+4 904 and measly 8 1/4 rear I believe the 360 is a marine engine as it has pet cocks on sides of block and has standard rotation cast into back of intake manifold. I now have it on stand's in the garage with complete front clip removed do to excessive rust that had been hidden with aluminum foil tape painted to much area it was covering. I have a diff front clip to replace original one. I am rebuilding the 904 as well as it burned up do to rubber cooler line blowing out.
Well improvements are slow on the Pu since I've been using the truck every day for hauling and just cruising to town and back. Newly straightened and painted front bumper, new (to me) chrome grill and headlight bezels, and a passenger side sport mirror! Under the hood I restored the top end and added an Edelbrock SP2P 4bbl intake and Thermoquad superquad carb (which gave me a 30% increase in fuel economy and way better acceleration!) and since I needed a 4bbl air cleaner assy. I pulled this 340 one off the shelf (which has been sitting there for 15 years) gave it a restore and installed. Looks REALLY nice!
You know how it goes. not wanting to be confused, with one of the other 4 shelby's in the state, i decided that fm-3, would be different. add a black-out hood, demon twin snorkel scoop, and some other goodies, etc. anyone can drive a truck. it takes a real man, to drive a pink one....
The rear wheel trim is fullsize dodge. Dakotas have a totally diff wheel opening. The guy you got the truck was miss informed. Any updates other than the wheels?
Quote: You know how it goes. not wanting to be confused, with one of the other 4 shelby's in the state, i decided that fm-3, would be different. add a black-out hood, demon twin snorkel scoop, and some other goodies, etc. anyone can drive a truck. it takes a real man, to drive a pink one....
the color has shifted, in uploading. it's really not that "pink". it's a bit darker, irl. and you know the story, everyone tells me they had one too, from the dealer, pink with a scoop.....
Here's the one I'll never get rid of! '76 Dodge W100 (with '78 grille) factory 440 4bbl auto 4x4, short box, 1/2ton 3.23 limited slip, AC truck. My favorite truck that's hauled lots of other Dodges! -Jim
1979 little red express picked it up a few weeks back owner never bothered to get it running we changed the oil plugs and the BATTERY cables were what was bad so $20 fix and we will be doing it up right
I have a D-50 pickup that is for street and bracket race. It has a 360 magnum ,stock short block, stock magnum heads,501/513 hyd. roller,M1 intake and 950 carb.3.55 gears and 315/60 15 M/T drag radials. It is very fun to drive and it has ran a best of 7.46@91 mph in the 1/8 mile, hope to go faster soon.
resuscitating a '72 D200 318 Camper Special Truck spent most it's life hauling a large camper on it's back. It had been ignored and left to die. Electrical was a nightmare and had been 'rattle canned' black. So far I have rewired most of the truck, install Edelbrock intake and carb, MSD StreetFire ignition and replaced all the dash gauges. Plenty more to do as time and money permits.
Sold my 88 RC a couple of weeks ago and replaced it with this '99 Ram 1500 Quad Cab Sport. Only 91K miles on it. Interior was perfect but the paint was bad - all clear coat had worn away. Sooooo, I threw a quick paint job on it the 2nd day I had it. Waited a couple of week and tossed on some custom AAR style stripes
Just traded my 04 1500 QC short bed 4x4 for this 04 2500 Cummins 2wd long bed. This will tow my off roader quite nicely, plus handle a large overhead camper I plan on getting soon....
I picked this up for 200 bucks a couple of weeks ago. My plans are to make it my daily driver and get good gas mileage. Would love to make it an EV but will probibly will never happen.
Here is a couple of antiques from Norway. Loading up my 1975 Dodge D-300 Dually, 318 cid, 727 auto,Dana 70, with my 1959 Fordson Super Major tractor with mounted diging equipmwnt. Lots of fun, and getting a lot of attension.
Just an hour and half before 2011 here. HAPPY NEW YEAR to all of you, and thank you to MOPARTS for one of the best web-sites on the planet.
I got the 89 dually for 175 tow fee. It had a box on back. the 81 I got for 600. I'm slowly trying to put them back together. I don't think a dually bed will fit on my 89 without some kinda mod. The chassis seems to be longer. Here are some pics
And I am close to getting a heartattack Sure would be nice to have it here in Norway tho'. Not many of those around these parts of the world. Looking for offers?
Here's mine. '77 W150, 440, NP435, 203 with a D44 front, D60 with ARB in the back and 4.10's. Engine is a '76 era with a '71 crank and rods, KB hyper flat tops, Erson TQ50 cam and ported 452 casting heads with 2.140/1.810 valves. Torker II intake, 1-3/4" headers and a 750 DP. Dynoed at 485 hp and 507 tq. It's a fun little truck.
Here is my 1978 Dodge d100, slant 6, 3 speed on the column, 60k original miles. I found it in Baxter, TN. It was sold new in nearby Sparta, TN. It is my daily driver.
Here's my new project truck. 93 club cab LE diesel, AT, was bone stock till I got ahold of it. 131K original and the interior is near mint! Hell even the AC and cruise works!
#1 '92 std cab as I got it (2.5/5sp w/title) BTW, it sits so low cause there are no springs in front and the rear axle is sitting on the frame. I'm bringing it back up to stock and then might drop it some, after I see how much the engine/trans will bring it down to 440 6Pack/727)
Here's the mount kit, along with headers and the intake w/carbs
Then there's the '92 Club Cab LE that I am mainly fixing up (as it stands for now, anyway)
here's my new '88. V6 5 speed OD. a/c and working cruise. got the bird bath and front bumper swapped. I've got rust free doors to go on, and panels from Scratch to fix the bed. will get a warmed over 318 someday.
a buddy had a set of these factry wheels laying in his garage for a few years. I asked him the other day about them for the shortbed. he scrapped them with some other stuff.....
went to look at one and ended up with three all are diesel/5-speed>>>lots of parts..
got the flat bed ready clean-up, paint, u-joints, clean/pack front bearings brakes all the way around, tires change all fluids and filters removed the "welded-on" side tool boxes bump up the timing
Jnkgal did the painting..
got to fix the scrape/dent in the lower door, then paint also
I like it. Good friend of mine recently finished rebuilding his, body work, sound sys, interior, 440 with his own FI system and 727 with OD. Uses it to pull a 36 or 40' enclosed trailer. Runs 80 mph in OD with no problem. I have seen one on rt 127 in Tenn in a front yard. Looks like it might be for sale, but no sign on it. It will need some body work as it does show wreck damage. Been sitting there for several years.
Got it this weekend for $1,700.00. Running & driving, tagged & inspected, new tires, new headers & exhaust, performer intake and eddy carb. Spare windshield, gooseneck ball and frame hitch too.
Can't get down to my computer to show pics, so I'll just tell. Bought new a 1990 Ram 150 Club Cab, long bed. Had a 5.2 with a 518od. Put 350,000 miles on it to the fall of 2010. It was silver and red. Only did normal maint. & had the tranny rebuilt & beefed in 2010. Spotted and bought a '96 red and silver Ram 1500 with a 5.2 and 518od. Standard cab, long bed. My wife got hit on the passenger side of it when some guy wasn't paying attn. & pulled out in a hurry. Just waiting now to see how it's going to go, if they'll fix it or total it. They're looking at the age & est. Truck, even with the damage is still a good one. Needs a rf fender, passenger door & assoc parts. Been real pleased with both of them. Both tow an open car trailer & about anything else we want. 17-18 mpg on the highway with the bed full without the car & trailer.

81-85 Share the same grill but you'll need the radiator support from an 81-85 for the headlights to line up. 86-90 Rad support will work its just Slightly off.

Got this last night, 01 cummins 5 speed. I got 50 plus scrap cars to haul in and it wasn't a fun drive in the gas power rollback... plus I can have some fun with it.
I just picked up an '89 W250 Cummins automatic off of Craigslist. This will be my sensible vehicle because all I have are classics and I've been switching between the Deuce and the convertible for driving to work
Here's my 67 Stepside I bought to tow my boat with. Now it just sits around and goes on rare cruises around town on friday nights. For sale by the way...

Thats a good lookin truck.....wish I had a little extra coin.....it would be in my driveway....

Good looking truck! What year? Duramax?
2007 Classic, its a 1500 w a 5.3. 6" lift w 315's. I dont tow that much. I had diesels for 11 years and the receipts to prove it! I am happy with the 5.3 so far, good power for daily driving and the mileage isn't bad. I love finally having a crew cab.
Thanks, old school PPG acrylic enamel w/ flatner and hardener.Caution 1 be sure to mix enough the first time as it is hard to match.#2 is sweep the whole side when painting the sides.
I didnt know we had a truck section here! I just picked up this 87 D100 Slant Six 4 speed and am loving it. It needs a little work, but no rust and it runs great.

Assorted late 70s parts. 360-4/727/203. This is how it was when I found it.

I am looking for one of those myself
If I could find a cherry original one, I'd pay a fair price too
My 64 D200. 225 slant 6 with a four speed. Was originally a pushbutton auto, 4.88 Dana. I fixed the bent pushrod, brakes, and swapped the junk AMC carb back to a holley. Still gotta put my 3.54 Dana in and weld up the driver's floor. God, I love this truck!!!
my 04 5.7 hemi, stainless steal headers & exhaust with 44 flowmasters, with tips coming through the bed, has a k&n air filter also computer chip, the strips are House of Kolor gold pearl with a tanglo overlay, some lighting look more orange other times can really see the gold..
Here's my latest addition. Hideous, isn't it? I scored this over Christmas leave. I never expected to find anything while I was home, but Santa Claus hooked me up.

Havent posted pics of my fleet, as I have gone through a few rigs but currently have two. Here is my '78 Club Cab shortbed ('79 Grille). 360/auto but originally a 318. Working on lowering it with large bolt suspension. Gonna do it right while its apart.
Here is my '85 shortbox. Flipped axle along with cut springs up front. 8 3/4 with 3.91 gears. Originally a slant with 4-spd OD, now has the drivetrain from the '87 I wrecked. '83 318, 4-v intake, eddy 600 carb backed by a '78 cast iron 4-spd OD. Needs work still but its a work in progress.
1979 2wd Dodge dually, original 360/auto is pretty tired, clean truck for where I found down in southern Iowa. Body is pretty straight and unf***** with. Should make for a neat tow vehicle when my Cummins asks for the weekend off.
My 83 d150 which is getting built 318,727 with 2800 stall and 8.75 with 4.10 or 4.30 gears! The 318 is getting bored 40 over with eagle ibeam rods,kb167 pistons zero decked with eddy rpm heads milled for 10.1 comp,XE268 cam with 224/230 duration and 477/480 lift!Intake is eddy airgap with holley 650dp!Cant wait to get this one fired back up!
Kevin this one replaces the one my wife totalled just like it. She was trying to be like me & do the fishtale only got scared & stood on the brakes & rolled up on it's side in a ditch. So I'll be keeping it for a while
Found this one in Pennsylvania. Was searching very long for an unusual condition like that, and finally found it.
The original owners used it only from 73 to 79 as a kind of mini camper for holidays and visiting events... In 2008 somebody took it out of an dry garage stuffed and buried under the things that had to go out of the way in the last 30 years.... It has 20k miles on the clock right now. I still have the first title and the first licensing plate.
Brought it to Berlin in 2010, now it will bring my wife and me to mopar meets all over Europe in the future.
1973 Dodge D100 Adventurer SE
- wheel base 131 - drive train is 360 / 727 / 8 3/4 rear / 3.23:1 - power steering / power brakes / a/c / speed control - "Tiger Lilly Metallic" is 100 % original, "Dodge Truck White" has been done one time... - am - fm - cb radio -> Must be from 76. The only thing i found changed. Unfortunately the cluster was cut for that and i have a bit longer but original style antenna... (but still a cool option...) - Muffler is "unbelievable", the first one. Rusty, but intact, it was also still good for the German "TÜV", which is our technical control board.... (i just had to let the pipe end at the rear for them...)
74´ D200 Custom. New brakes all around, new suspension, practically new (1yr old) BF Goodrich Baja 33´ x 12.5´s. Overkill for a 2wd, they will probably go away sooner or later, they DO look nice though. (front suspension has blocks in it to prevent overtravel with these tires)
Some minor rust in the cab (only one tiny hole about 3/4" by 1/3" at the doorstep the rest is really minor surface stuff/cosmetic repairs)
Got a second, better bed along with it that will replace this one. (It´s really shot and dented like hell with a 3/4 ton of bondo to mask that....)
Will post more pics once i get my license plate, get the second bed unloaded at my friends place and can drive it to some scenic place up the mountains. The current pic is still from the previous owner i have to admit.
@muskote: hey, you failed to post pictures of your new ride on the german dodge truck board!!
I meant the Dodge Truck Forum, but in retrospect: they might be there since you obviously had the truck since 2010 and i haven´t read the entire board yet. Sorry!
Yeah, the grille is nice.... Not all that many around in Europe that haven´t been hacked up by the US Army in their M880´s.
It´s got brand new Volkswagen Golf/Rabbit I or II headlights in it that work like a charm as well.
The paint looks better on the pic, it´s not the original paint but red primer. The technical proof board in Austria didn´t approve of the colour when the truck was in it´s original dark green. (The bed was faded differently then the cab as the bed was a donor bed. Originally, the truck had a flatbed with hinged walls all around.
A "Sonderaufbau" and since it´s officially a "Classic Truck" it was better to swap the bed before approval or it would have to stay on to keep it "in original condition")
So a quick primer job was done to get it on the road. (The truck was imported from switzerland, hence the need to get an approval from the proof board/TUEV.
Since it´s approved as a Classic, insurance is next to nothing or in my case: free as the insurance on my daily driver is higher. I can use the plates from my daily driver and slap em on as soon as i get it registered on the same plates.
Thanks for the kind words, it just ain´t no showroom queen but i like it that way and will improve it over the next months and years. It´s also my first American made car as well as my first 8-banger.
best wishes, Dodgetrucker
EDIT: just took a second glance at the paperwork, it´s actually a 1974 Model not a 1976, which explains the early grille....
sorry, only had it a couple days and somehow i got the MY mixed up...
Finally got kind'f what I've been looking for. A 1975 Dodge D-300 dually Club Cab, 8' bed, original factory 440 cid/727 auto. Dana 70 rearend reworked to 3.55 and suregrip. Totally original 76K miles. Even paint and interior is original. Just got it, so no pic yet, but will post as soon as I shoot some. It's been raining for a year in this Godforsaken country. WHAT CAN I DO WITH IT, AND WHAT KIND OF GOODIES CAN I GET FOR IT ??? 440 "sleeper": Manifold ? Carb(s) ?, Headers ? Wheels/tires ? etc., etc. Did the '75 440 pick-up truck have a cast or steel crank ? Sorry, I don't know to much about these "new" cars. Most of my 46 MOPARs are pre 1970.

Neat sounding truck. Looking forward to seeing pics. It will be a cast crank 440. Here's my 75 with a cast crank 440
My latest toy truck, a 1969 Fargo 100. A one owner farm truck, it has been sitting on flat tires in a backyard for 28 years. Luckily, that backyard was in Saskatchewan, which is very dry and very cold. One door glass was shot out of it a long time ago by kids with a pellet gun, which allowed rain and snow inside, ruining the floor in spots. The rest of the truck is remarkably well preserved! Not a bad deal for $200. Oh yeah, I had to drive 10 days and 5000 miles to get it.
Thank you very much for your reply. As a foreigner on here, I certainly do not get many replys. That's also why I don't care to make many comments or posts on here. So yours is very much appreciated. And thank you for the info on the crank as well. If you, or anybody else, have any more info on what I can do to make this 440 "sleeper" a little hotter with a little better response to my right foot, that too would be much appreciated.
And I sure like your truck. I like that bright red colour on a truck like yours. And I would like the same on mine, but with some black on it too.
Rain, rain, rain here. Weatherforecast says may be some sun on coming wednesday or thursday, so I'll try to make a few shots then.
Thanks again, and take care.
Einar in Norway.
Oh, by the way, I sure have a "hot" story about driving my '69 Charger R/T (pictured elswhere on this site) from Nashville, Tennessee to Tampa, Florida back in 1978

Now that is dedication !!!! Your 69 FARGO looks great !!!
Heres my uncles 64 HPP 426 wedge cable shift auro tranny. Its all umbers correct, engine and tranny, the rearend suffered a failure back in the earlie 90s, but its got a correct rearend in it now.
Cab is done and on the frame, but this is all I got of it so far.
Guess my truck isn't as original as the seller told me. But at least he included the original grille and rear bumper in the deal. Actually, I like this grille better than the original. Like the grille with the dual headlights even better. As for the heavy steel rear bumper, it's nice to have in case some stupid driver get to close behind me, and I have to step on the brakes
Had to change the heater fan switch. And all the gauges are "going wild" or don't work at all when I turn on the ignition switch
Car looks kind of dirty, because I wasn't able to wash it because of all the rain here.
Summer car show 2012 . This truck was off the road from 1990 until this year . I'm glad it rolling down the road with a few more hp under the hood . Having fun with it ...............
BLACK IS BEAUTYFUL ! Sure like the black Warlock and the '80 D-150. Really beautyful trucks. Must get one of these soon. Could wish one for Christmas I guess Hey Santa, if you're out there I hope you read this. Oh yeah, we have a lot of Reindeers here in Norway, so I guess I could trade with a couple of them Einar in Norway.
Finally got my latest truck home yesterday (12-19-12) and I so love this one better than any of the others I have ever owned including my current 03 diesel I have for sale.

What wheels are these? My dad has a similar set on his '86 RC (totally rusted out pile of spare parts for our '83 D150 that's still in good condition) but they are big BC and I need 5 on 4.5"

Look like stock Dodge turbines to me. They had 2 bolt patterns do to the 4wds going back to 5.5" bolt pattern in 80.
Currently snowing here and the thought of taking it out in the snow and salt is killing me. Been trying to buy the "right" 00/01 XJ Cherokee for two years now in an effort to fully retire the truck. I will have to renew my efforts on the day after Christmas.
Yea back in the old days when Cars/Trucks actualy had options. Step side boxes were Std equipment and Fleet sides/Style sides were options (more $$$) much like seat belts, Radio rear bumper, etc...
My Grandpa bought this truck in 1990. After he passed away the truck went to my mom who had it in storage until i convinced her to give it to me. It was burried under an inch of dirt and in need of many maintainance items. Even though its now my truck, i consider myself the caretaker of "his" truck.
was going through some boxes, and found some pics of some of my trucks. i rarely shoot stuff, but have been doing it more recently. here's my shelby rampage, 2.2 turbo, super 60 package with 5th injector added into air inlet tube for fogging the intake. it's controlled by an a/c pressure switch thats controlled by the boost, and is adjustable. the bed cover isnt on, in the pics, but you get the idea.
i traded a guy a honda crx (the wifes car, from when i met her) and 500 bucks for this ramcharger. i'm thinking it's an '86. i mentioned this grill somewhere else on the forum. never saw another one like it. probably a jc whitney deal, but never saw one in a catalog either. wife crushed the passenger side in, trying to park in the carport, so i sold it to a guy at a fireworks stand, when he offered me cash.
i built this ramcharger for snake hunting in the glades. off road lights for trail hunting, and a door light for each side, to make side of the road snatches easier. the boys from inverness built a sweet 340 for me, and installed it, so i could legitimately run the "magnum powered" decals.
4:10's, p/s, p/b, a/c, r/c rollbar, all the toys. was a sweet ride. got it from seminole chrysler plymouth back around 1993. traded a 1984 corvette for it straight up. vette had under 10K miles.
was an '89 iirc. tried to sell it to fund a superbird deal, but went to a friend in brooksville, that used it for a trade on something else. i got another rampage and some cash from the deal.
heres mine, 84 dodge me and my 4 year old started. which he is 11 now...lol the front bumper and grill are black now like the rest of the truck.has a la 318,.030 over, magnum heads,4 spd OD,4.56 gears
The dark brown 2011 3/4 ton 2WD gas powered Hemi is mine. All stock.
My co-worker bought a new 2012 3/4 ton 4WD diesel Cummins. From there he had Auto Truck Outfitters in Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania add a H&S Mini Max controller w/ pryo, Flo-Pro 4 inch exhaust, and an 8 inch lift kit with a lot of parts from BDS. The wheels are XD Spy 20x9 inch and the tires are 37 inch Toyo MT's.
Now I don't have to worry about tagging his rear view mirror if I park next to him.
77 Adventurer SE 360, recently bought this, one repaint pretty much original old truck, except it has a later model hood and cowl. Don't know why, it was swapped?
92 Dakota, I ordered it Nov of 91, with a 318, A/C, Tilt, & Cruise those are the only options, the color is Electric Blue, the dealer installed the fender moldings.
Hey guys, new to the forum but been into Mopars since 1998. Was a Mopar parts guy until recently. Truck is a 79 Ramcharger. I swapped in a magnum 360/NV4500/Dana300/4.56 gears(rears are in, still have to do the front). It's still on the 4" lift the original owner installed, I'll be redoing it soon. 33" m/t's now. Running the M1 dual plane and an Eddy 600 and Hughes HR0814 cam. Looking at adding factory efi soon. Just trying to decide if OBD1 or 2 is the way to go.
Thanks. the dana 300 is a transfer case out of late scout 2s and CJ-7s. all gear driven instead of chain. it's similar to a NP205. better ratio in low and lighter but still plenty strong. 75-79 Dodge 4x4s were full-time, the RC and W100s had lousy front wheel bearings that don't hold up well. so by converting to the 300 and axles from a 80-84 with Warn hubs(factory auto hubs were ok but not as good as warn manuals, nice a beefy to hold up to big tires etc...)i now have true part-time 2wd for street driving, picked up 2mpg with the nv4500, 2 more with the part-time conversion, about 14mpg at 65mph now even with 4.56s and 33s. hoping for a couple more with efi.
Ok. Yohah I know about the dreaded craptastic fulltime axles. Scrapped a truck just for that reason bit pulled the drilling first. Im just glad I didn't just tune it up and go beat on it as was planned Driver side was Horrible. Brother inlaw sold me some Low mile 31" mud tires and that's when I found the axle was toast
Currently snowing here and the thought of taking it out in the snow and salt is killing me. Been trying to buy the "right" 00/01 XJ Cherokee for two years now in an effort to fully retire the truck. I will have to renew my efforts on the day after Christmas.
Here's another shot of it. When I bought it the only thing that had ever been done to it was the blue paint. I found a period campershell and painted it white. Had it lowered 4/6". Custom pinstriping work on Hood, fenders, tailgate, doors(inside and out) heater box and vents under dash, and headliner. 2010 17" factory stealies from a Dodge magnum with custom made center caps. Next step in 2 inch white walls and air ride suspension.
1967 Dodge D200 Custom Camper Special crew cab longbed. 318 727 4.10 Dana 60 factory stretched frame. Pretty rare "luxury" crew. Picked it up from Scott in TX a couple years ago. Sold new at Reedman Dodge in Pennsylvania supposedly for family camping trips with a gooseneck trailer. Haven't done much to it yet besides cleaning the body from oxidation and surface rust (it is pretty straight and very little rust through), cleaned up the engine a bit along with some new parts and pressure washed the undercarriage as it seemed to have been in a flood, mud everywhere and water in the transmission. Hope to get a rebuilt trans and converter, some new window seals as well as a brake rebuild by next summer. Will add new Custom seat covers if the material is still available and also a carpet (rubber floor mat originally). Also looking for one piece rims instead of the split rims. Want to keep the truck mostly original.
1993 Dakota, 5.2, 518, not sure what gear yet tag is missing, 125,000 miles. The motor is pretty much stock other than Ford blue top injectors, polished TB, K&N filter. It's been lowered with 17x9 rims. Upcoming upgrades: 390"small block, Trac-Lok, M-1 and who knows what else.
I am the second owner on this Shelby Dakota. It is all original except wear parts that were all replaced at a Dodge dealer since new. It has 102k miles and runs as new.I drove it from upstate NY to Daytona, Fl. with no problems. Then I drove it to Ocala and back to Daytona for the Garlits show.
I thought I would show my Grandpas truck also. 1991 D150 new paint interior. It is a 318 auto LE loaded up truck with over 200k. I found it on Craigslist about a year ago.I changed the gray interior to red and detailed the engine. The rear has 2in. drop shackles and 275/60/15 tires.
1967 D100 slant/6 was a 3spd. now a 727 purchased from org. owner 38k miles. The truck was a utiline originally but I found a swepty bed in Georgia and bought it. My grandpa and me did a frame off in 2000. I put the 727 and 69 column shift in around 2005-2006. I had to swap the crank with a newer crank but the rest of the engine is original. I also put a Super Six intake on and power brakes when I did the trans. swap.It has the factory exhaust from the manifold to the muffler.I replaced the fenders, doors, hood, bumpers and the bed. the cab had a few repairs but is original to the truck.
I have usually clicked on the "img" below the pic on the right hand side of the screen which automatically copies it. This time it seems there's been an update to my photobucket & there is an "img" just below the pic in the middle of the page. So I've clicked on that but had to copy with a right click. I'll see if that pastes/works here.
Here is the 1979 Power Wagon Club Cab I just bought. I'm looking for a complete set of low mount mirrors for it, anyone have a set and wants to sell let me know.
Just drove this back to Chicago from Hesperia, California last week. Will fix it up a little and swap different wheels on it, and then I will likely sell it so I can finance my '67 P300.

Here's a pic of my truck, it started out as a 72 D-600 single cab dump truck, now a crewcab car hauler. It has a 91 Cummins mated to a Ford ZF 5-speed,converted to run on vegetable oil.
The Yellow one is a '68 W300 The red one a, '63 D100 with a 4bbl poly 318 and push button auto. The Black one a '65 HPP with factory air it is being pulled by my '05 CTD 3500
Took the new (to me) '84 D350 long crew to the Mopar Nats and drove about 1600 miles in 12 days visiting friends and relatives in Ohio, ended up with a few pics...
My '84 long bed crew beside my Dad's '84 short bed.
Over the years he's put over 300K miles on his little blue truck, which has been to the top of Pike's Peak, and at one time towed a full-size 4WD Ford on a heavy equipment trailer from Las Vegas NV to north central Ohio - not too bad for a (built) slant six D150!
W250, 318, 4 BL, dual exhaust, 35" Interco Thornbirds, 4" Skyjacker lift, custom interior work, and paint coming soon. All the work is done by my dad, who's on here too, and myself.
Quote: Just mounted 245/75/16s with later model ('94-'01) 8-lug truck rallyes on the Crew Cab, big improvement over the stock 19.5s with wheel covers..

1977 D100 Adventurer SE 360 still a hard working old truck, it pulls my 74 Dart Sport to the drag strip several times a year. Its all Mopar, even the trailer has 4 1/2" bolt pattern wheels, with 9" Red line dog dish hub caps.
My first Dodge truck in about 10 years! Lowly 97 Dakota, but I really like this thing, it's still clean, it still works awesome, and still does better than 18mpg in rural driving!
'73 W200 crew, with a 360. Just bought it off the 2nd owner out of Prescott, AZ. It came with a snow plow from the dealer, out of South Dakota, and the PO put the wrecker boom on it maybe back in the '80's.
Here's my old '72 W100 - 360 4bbl/NP445/NP 203 I think?)8.75 rear, Dana 44 front. I believe it was originally tan/brown. It came from Southern California, the north part of San Diego. I really miss that truck, I loved it. Sure, it had a few dents from people backing into it but it was rust free and otherwise straight. Pretty sure I had to be the only guy ever driving around NYC in a purple '72 Dodge. Sold it in 2006, would love to have it back.
Just picked up a 65 Sweptline short bed, Slant 6 three on the tree. It has a little rust, but the goal is to get it on the road, enjoy it, and worry about the rest later.
1971 military started as a 2 wheel 1/2 ton cab and chassis out of alamo gordo NM holloman afb....altered as 1992 cummins diesel getrag 205 dana 60/70 plus step side bed topped with 2 gallons of surplus OD...
Recently found and bought... 1 owner 80 Macho Powerwagon I was fortunate enough to find and buy this truck from the 80+ year old original owner. Its really a survivor...
I bought this in Jan 78 to replace the 76. Back in those days we would street race the cars and then go home and get the trucks to race. I converted both trucks to 4 bbls and they both did pretty well.
Just bought this on Saturday. It's a 2014 with 4400 miles. I guess the original owner needed to pull something big because he traded it in on a 2500 diesel.
I think I'm going to add some matte black "war" stripes to the hood. I wonder if the original owner removed the badging on the side or if it came this way? I think I'm going to remove the 4x4 emblem on the tailgate.
Here is my Daughter's 91 W150. She just turned 15 and wants a old truck to drive once she gets her license! We are going to spend the next year fixing it up. Proud Papa

I have the same truck. It came without emblems on the sides, and the ones on the back are black too. The '15's have emblems on the sides now but they are black instead of chrome.
Got this from a friend a few weeks back. I mostly wanted it for the transmission to put in my Belvedere, but really thinking hard about a restoration. Just don't see them much anymore. I put a new battery in, but starter is dead. Should run with a new starter.
1980 D100, 440/A833. I love the yellow Macho Power Wagons, and want to paint it similar. Keep the black as is in satin, then the gray would be yellow with black bumpers and maybe grill. Add a wide red divide between the colors and big 440 angled across the hood. Clean up the wheels and freshen up the interior...
That is my baby. 1977 dodge power wagon warlock. She isn't all original as she has a 360 instead of the 318. She has been in the family for 15 years now she is mine. Doing brakes today will have a better picture later.
Used to play pretty seriously with my 02 Cummins, I put on Thuren Radius arms, custom long travel rear leafs, 12" travel 2.5" King resi shock with compression adjusters front, 2.5" 14" travel double bypass Kings in rear, 37/1350/17 Toyos, H2 wheels, 6speed, Quadzilla, Mach 4 injectors, SPS62 Turbo and leather heated seats lol. Fast as all get out and was stupid capable in the dirt.
Here is my boys (17, 11 and 9 years old) project truck... 64 Sweptline. They just swapped disk brakes on it and are rebuilding a 318 and 833 4 spd for it. Should be a great first vehicle for them....
Here's mine, 2014 Ram 3500 crew cab dually, with 6.7L cummins. Only mod it airaid filter and tube to turbo, and rbp side steps, wish I could delete the def crap, but can't right now.
Just bought this on Monday. 2001 24 valve NV5600 4x2, ext cab, long bed New Michelins 97K miles, always garaged, AZ & Texas truck, no rust, it looks brand new inside and out.
The 2001 24 valve Ram will be the Tow Truck for the Dakota, I'm keeping the 98 gas 2500 though, it's got a rebuilt 46Re and a few goodies in the motor, and it's the official work truck anyway.
Currently it's the slant 6 with 3 speed column shift, all original. I do have a 318 Poly I'm building for it though and have also adapted a T-5 5-speed to that. Attached is the Poly in stock form showing the Ford headers I adapted. Once I get this in the truck and get everything working well, I'll swap to the manifold shown for a short while. I expect to pull the engine back out in winter and do a complete (performance) build. Thanks for your interest.
Traded my street bike for this 63 panel, not sure which direction to go with this, other than I have removed the straight axle and Im installing a front end from a 77 on it.
Its new to me anyway, Ive been hunting a replacement for my old faithful 94 that has 230,000 on it - still a decent PU , This one is a 5.9 gas 5 spd SLT 2500 96,000 miles in super nice condition. got it for $4000, its exactly what I wanted!!
I just picked up this `58 W-200 Power Wagon/Giant powered by a `57 392 Hemi. Been sitting along time so it will be a bit before driving down the road but engine runs great so far. Now for some brakes.
Almost finished with my 68 D100 (sweptline with uteline bed). Total frame off custom, 3"drop I beam, tongue & groove hardwood bed, etc. Originally a northern Nevada dealership get around truck, matching #'s 383 2bbl with auto console shifter on the dash. Put the orig 383 on a stand & installed a 70 383 Mag that was in my 71 W100. Can't wait to get it finished & up for sale maybe...
Thanks much. Didn't expect to go this far with it. Was a pretty cool driver with its orig 2bbl 383, but will be much more fun to drive when we're done..
Here's my Cummins long dog. The spaces in the front and rear of rear wheels is for some aluminum steps that I've not yet installed. This was a cube body delivery truck. I just stretched this bed to fit. The guys at home depot just shake their heads when I throw 10' drywall in there with room to spare.
Just joined the group today after one of the topics showing up in a search. figured I should probably introduce myself and post a picture of my project.
This is my 1978 Lil Red Express that I bought a year and a half ago. My dad had one when they were new and I grew up hearing stories about it so I've wanted one as long as I can remember. Finally found this one about five minutes from my house and in spite of the amount of work it needs I knew I had to have it!! The build is half the fun, right?! It has mostly sat in my shop since I bought it but I recently started buying parts here and there in anticipation of completing grad school in about five weeks which means the work begins! I told my wife that if she needs me after graduation I'll be in the shop!!!!!
Some of my fleet, lol. Missing my lastest '80 PW W100 build in this, and a few of my other trucks but these are the current drivers right now. I think I have a few to many.
2007 Power Wagon. G-56 6 speed, cammed and besides that mostly stock performance wise.
1998.5 24V Cummins, +150hp injectors, edge comp, triple disc converter and built trans. (now sporting dual 5" stack which I don't recommend)
1987 W100. Was 360/727, now carb'd 5.7 Hemi, and 727.
1953 Fargo. Sitting on a Dakota chassis, powered by a 360 w/904. Don't have a recent picture of it (better wheels on it), but built it for my dad as a driver to enjoy, and he does.

My latest addition: 1975 W300 Dump Truck. 318, 4spd It is a beater - but will be handy around our 20 acre property. Runs great, and mechanically and electrically solid. The cab and fenders are beat - with welded patches all over. The guy i bought it from cut all rust out and welded new patches - but didnt do any body work. Its fine the way it is for what i will use it for.
Picked this up late last summer, strip & rebuild in-process, shame is it only has 30,885 miles on it. Sat behind the guys garage too long, 7 years of pestering paid off.
Just got it. You might have seen it for sale. 1979 Power Wagon 150. Very original. Factory 360-4. Still going thru it carefully but so far so good. Appears completely rust free from floors to drip rail. 360 sounds smooth and quiet. Oil pan dripping, maybe trans pan, need to re-gasket and change fluids. Dreaming of a repaint one day. A lot of minor neglected stuff to take care of but all-in-all I can see myself owning this one to the grave. Shortbed, V8, '79 Adventurer Power Wagon, Heck ya.
Just picked up this 92.5 D350 CTD/5spd. Working AC, PW, PDL, PM, Tilt, and non working cruise. It has a fresh trans rebuild, clutch, brakes, rotors, front springs, ball joints, tie rods, etc, 6 new tires, alt, master cyl, meoh/water injection, and other things. Over $3000 worth of new parts with receipts. Indiana truck that pulled a travel trailer to FL every winter, so it's almost rust free. It is beat up some but I can live with that. Drove it to the Nats, got 23 MPG with the AC on and with 4.10 gears. Yea, I'm proud of it, and very happy.
Re: Lets See Your Trucks *DELETED* - 10/09/1708:00 PM
The 360 coming out for some maintenance: all new brass freeze plugs, oil pan gasket and rear main seal, HD water pump, double roller timing chain with tensioner while it's out, and I'll think of plenty of other things to do while it's out.
I've been casually looking for a few years for a '74-'78, preferably a '75, power wagon, short box, regular cab, 4X4 with 360, AT and A/C AND 100% rust free. FOUND IT!
89 w250 I picked up this summer from a young guy that was in the service stationed on the west coast and brought back here to WI. Truck is clean with the exception of the flaking original paint.
Hopefully your NOT going to run those trucks on your salty roads in the winter!
- EM
Not a chance mine will. I have other trucks to drive that have already been driven on the salty winter roads here. This truck was an Arizona/Texas truck and there is NO rust on it anywhere including the underside. Just what I wanted and I'm not going to mess it up here! Winter storage and limited Summer use is its future! Here I am picking it up in Texas.
Yay, engine back in and runs and sounds great! Dang, ran out of Mopar brand paint when I got to pump, and they don't sell it locally. Stuff covers very excellent. Ordered another online, and will remove brackets and paint them and pump when I get it.
I did make sure the underside was covered real well because I don't want to have to paint anything under here now. Just a to refresh memory what I did: New quality gaskets everywhere, brass freeze plugs, new cam and lifters with about stock specs on cam but a little more low end grunt but keeping smooth idle, new valve seals, double roller timing chain with tensioneer, new HD Milodon water pump (would've liked to put in a MP one but had too many early failures), steering brace, plugs, wires, cap, and some other stuff I probably forgot now. Took a garden hose to block and flushed out a lot of crap. Distilled water and coolant now.
Well, I have about 6-7000 hours into the restoration of said dually.
It is a 1980 crew cab now updated to look like a 1993. It has a 1997 12V 5.9 compound turbo Cummins with roughly 650 hp/1800 ft tq. I built this engine to run at that rated power though for 20-30 min at a time. Not a fan of 1/4 mile only power as when you are hauling trailers up mountains, that doesnt cut the mustard or pass the Fords.
Tranny is a twin stick 24 speed manual.
Rear diff is a 1998 Dana 80, front is a 1993 Dana 60. Has a NP205 transfer case off a 1993 Dodge/Cummins. Wheels are 19.5 aluminum class 5-7 semi wheels.
Interior seats are from a 2008 SRT Charger. The rest of the interior has been fabricated to blend 1980 with 1993 with 2008 as well as merge all the gages as switches.
Suspension is full 4 corner air ride off a semi truck.
Every nut and bolt has been redone or replaced. Not sure what else I can say. Its just your average old dually!
that Dually is sweet! But I still over that grey truck! Blue Goose
Thanks! She will be happy to hear she is also loved! lol
They grey truck is just as unique.
It is set up with Dana 61 front and Dana 71 rear with factory 3.07 gears and a NP205 t case. Engine is the original CPL 0804 5.9 non intercooled 12V Cummins only very well worked. Running a single SuperHX40 off a 24v C series class 8 engine, I have the original VE engine running at 450 hp and 1350 ft lbs of torque. I am also running that through a 24 speed twin stick set up. The truck also runs 2002 Ram intercooler, condenser, and radiator.
Suspension is now custom as well with 5500 spec springs in each corner, Bilstein 5100 shocks, and performance sway bars. This thing handles like it is on rails.
Here's mine. 73 W100,318, auto, nothing special. Its been in my wifes family since new. Plan for 2018 is to restomod (Macho paint in yellow/black) it a bit and get it back on the road. I've got a new grille and a bunch of other parts for it.
This was my 87 Ram. 5.9L Magnum, 750 Holley, headers, single exhaust, NV3500 5 speed manual, 8 3/4 w 3.55's, lowering front coils and super stock B body springs. 15 x 8 w 255 60 and 275 60's.
Ole crusty, I mean rusty, I mean trusty. My 96' V10 Ram. This truck owes me nothing been one of the best reliable vehicles I have ever had. Owned it over 21 years now but the Mi winters have not been kind to it. It hauls, tows, moves whatever I need it to do. Except maybe pass a gas station but I am used to it.

Awesome truck. A friend had a black/silver one, '89 also. I would have loved to have owned it, but I didn't have the coin.
Been thinking about replacing my 2005 Dodge 3500 dually and came across this 2012 Ram 2500. One owner, 56K miles, High Output Cummins 6.7L automatic with 3.73 gears. Price was right and I love this color so I couldn't pass it up. Now I HAVE TO sell my 3500!
OhioMopar, I absolutely LOVE your newly acquired W100! Utiline, the orange, a standard cab, and the '72-'80 were the bestest
Thank you. It's a former West Virginia State truck. 318 4-speed. I have some big plans for it. Probably a big block, 5 speed. But gotta keep the orange. May have to go Hemi orange, though. My girlfriend's Ramcharger gets loving first.
Installed my Hedman Elite coated headers installed on my Power Wagon and drove it open headers 6 miles to exhaust shop ( ) and got the dual exhausts installed. I went with OEM style mufflers and turn outs behind rear wheels. I love it.
Beautiful job on your Sweptline Eric! Your photo makes me want to replace the black nascar rims on my 68 Uteline with chrome or black 5 spokes like your, as we're lowering & finishing the build. What front end suspension does yours have?
She patiently waits for a transmission replacement and then paint.Warm 360 with cam,ported heads,alum intake,headers,and 3" single exhaust.New A/C system,tinted windows,new shocks,and mid 90's 16" steel wheels.
I want to fix the driver side floor board and start driving it. Start sorting out some of the issues. It's a Dodge. The guy selling it told me it was a '77. He hauled it to me and the title says '76. I've been looking for one for a long time. I had one years ago, 360 and a three on the tree.
Peeling the plastidip the previous owner had covered the entire truck with. I'm getting it ready for paint. Excited about having it painted. Very tedious removing this crap.
VERY nice Power Wagon! Reminds me of the red 400/ 4 spd one I bought new in 76. What color is it gonna be?
Thanks! I believe a lot of people won't approve, but I'm strongly leaning toward this color combo. This way I can eliminate the metal trim, which is slightly damaged in places and missing elsewhere, plus I really like the combination and period correct color! No mine is not a Macho.

Maybe I should put that stripe package on my Brown Ram...
Hey, that yellow might look cool on your Ram. And basketcase; YES! His yellow truck is beautiful!

Yeah, mine isn't a macho either. It's also not a snow commander. Does have the macho roll bar, factory meyers, buddy seat buckets (lre/warlock/macho) and a sun roof. Just needs the stripe kit from Phoenix Graphics.
RWG75 that's a really cool truck! And I'm curious about that Charger back there

Re: Lets See Your Trucks - 01/21/1905:41 PM
I just really dig my shorty too. 360-TQ, 727, headers, loud-ish, shoves snow around really well. Almost like it better that my LRE - depending on the weather.
The Charger is a 75 and was yer basic standard issue granny grocery getter when I paid a full $300 for it. 318, 904, 2.45, ps, pb, a/c, bench seat, pie plates. Did have the trunk dress up carpet, foot controlled search tune and fuel pacer. Was tired to the bone but completely intact.
Swapped the k frame, used poly isolators, replaced all the rubber in the front end, new sway bar, big block t-bars. HD rear springs w/ larger than stock addco bar. Took a smogger 440 TQ out of a 77 NYer, cammed it, put a shift kit in the 727, 3.21 SG, full duals with Dynomax turbos. For some strange reason it had 11" drums but I might swap in the disk setup from an Imperial axle I have. Have the bigger disks from a pickup sitting on the shelf.
Put 15x7 cop rims behind original wire wheel covers for sleeper look, later went to ventilated dog dishes. Paint has gone to hell from sitting in the sun and that annoys me. Built it on a budget so not getting the full 440 experience and that kinda annoys me. When I mat the loud pedal in 1st it will chirp 2nd every time and that doesn't annoy me. Yeah, left the fuel pacer hooked up.
Very cool Charger! I like the RWL tires and shiny wires with that color. Cop wheels and dog dishes are nice too. I know sun dulled paint is annoying, and I jockey my cars that are outside around to the shade as the day goes on, but then it's less to stress about too if they already aren't perfect. I like the factory looking turn downs outback too! Very cool cruiser!
Just picked up this 1989 D100 shortbed with 318 (93K miles) for my daughter as a daily driver with "farm truck" style. The visor will probably be the first thing to go.
Any one that remembers my previous post may recall that this truck has just been sitting for a looong time. Well it looks like it will be ready for next season, ( too late in season to get all safety equip back from re-cert for this season) heres a little vid of things to come.
I just acquired this semi-barnfind and probably pretty rare Warlock today. It's a 1976 Warlock Power Wagon factory 440 truck. 4x4, automatic with power steering, power disc brakes and A/C. It starts and I've only driven it around my lot so far. Cool thing was when I opened the glove box it has the original owners manual, full hand written service records since new, original dealer invoice, original shipping sheet showing all the options like a window sticker including the Warlock option, original warranty booklet, IBM card, dealer key tag, visor plastic wrap and more! The option sticker was missing under the hood, looked like it had fallen off but no, it was in the glovebox too! Cool truck that has mostly original paint, plenty of patina and the first year they made them. In '76 the factory decided to build a few Warlocks late in the year and it wasn't a regular production truck until '77. Wish I could find out how rare it really is. A 440 in a short box stepside aught to be fun too!
My '79 Power Wagon is really coming along. Already rust free so I'm concentrating on making reliable before paint. Installed Quality Power 150 amp alternator, and cleaned all the bulk head connections (already bypassed amp gauge). Headlights nice and bright and stay that way. Plus shouldn't be left stranded anywhere with bad alternator (I know I should install a voltmeter eventually). Also hope to eventually get brackets and pulleys for dual belts since I now have dual pulley alternator. Also cleaned up the carb linkage that was half-assed by previous owner and added extension lever and proper stud (thanks scratchnfortraction). Shift points MUCH improved and smoother pedal.
I am about to hit a milestone with this build. I thought I would share.
1965 D100 Utiline. Former push truck for a racing team in California. I have made contact with the original owner's son. I hope to get some pictures of the truck in action, supporting a team in the California sunshine.
Truck has the Custom interior option so, engine-turned pieces around gauge cluster and lower area of dash. I found a gauge panel from Mooneyes (I think) that comes close to the same pattern. We put new floors in, new carpet, tried to evict the wasps and bees....
Originally /6 NP435... is now: 1958 392 Hemi 2x4 with "spirited cam" from Gary Stauffer, custom-built headers, Tremec 5speed, American Powertrain clutch, flywheel, pressure plate. Now has Crown Victoria front suspension. Big disc brakes in front, rebuilt drum setup in rear (we had one helluva time getting the correct brake parts in the rear. Will probably change to rear discs after that horrific episode). 8 3/4.
Today, it headed out for front end alignment and some different wheels. These are stock Crown Vic cop car wheels in the pics. I am staying with the tires but American Racing has a wheel that looks better, has better offset and lets me use the same tires.
The Milestone is after years and years and many failed attempts, this sucker is (as of this posting) headed out on Hot Rod Power Tour with American Powertrain. Who knows, they may change their mind tomorrow but TODAY.... it hit the threshold for that journey in terms of trouble-free operation and that is a big, damned deal if you ask me.
The truck is very personal to me and my family. I purchased this truck the DAY my son was born. What was I doing shopping for cars when Momma is in labor? Well, I sent the email to a friend and transferred the funds while I was in the hospital. When I put my phone down, everybody was looking at me: "get your ass in here and help" ... I had never been to any birthing classes or anything. Like a bucket of fried chicken - I grabbed a leg and went at it.
I have attached some pics. Thanks for reading. Thanks for all the details and help over the years.
Wow, so COOL!!!!! I love it!!!! What a great truck and a great engine choice!!!!
My very first vehicle at 16 years old was a '67 D100 utiline short bed, poly 318, three-on-tree. What great memories. Same grille and everything as yours so really brings back some memories
Reminds me of about 32 yrs ago where I ran a 392 in my 66 Town wagon. Left the outside of the truck as is with dents and rust. Only pace that looked good was under the hood. Embarrassed a blue mid 70's vet from a light one night in front of a crowd of street teens hanging out while working in Paducah, Ky. I heard the locals road him pretty hard over that for a while.
I am new to this forum so I thought I would show my present dodges. The first is a 94 Cummins that I bought new. The second is (sissy truck) an 08 bought in 2010. The last is a 1934 Dodge K47 2 ton. I used a 76 Dodge B300 motorhome for the sub frame and rear axle. It has a 96 dodge 360 and auto from my son's retired pickup. This is a work in progress and almost ready for the sand blaster, body work and then paint.
73 Power Wagon Adventurer SE out of Arizona. Factory 400 BB, A/C, cruise, bed toolbox, camper package. Finally getting some progress done on it this winter. Sat for many years in the desert. Almost zero rust.
Thanks! It's my favorite grille too. It had a 75ish grille when I got it, with this grille in the bed of the truck, so I changed it out pretty soon after getting it. It's the Camper 7500 model.
I got into some much deeper stuff, but then I couldn't step out to take pics. It had NO problems driving right out. I really haven't had much chance to try out the 4wd, so it was lots of fun!
Mine is sitting in the driveway, interior is under going a major clean and paint, seat is out being redone.. I think I'm going to try the roller paint job like what is shown in the Q&A forum... Bluestacks.redOmegle APKcanlimacizle.redVidMateApp
This isn't a "whats it worth" but rather a 'what is it' question. I was hoping perhaps one of the many truck owners here could tell approximately what years this tailgate is from, that I found at an old dealership. They also have the Canadian only, FARGO tailgate from the same era, both fleetside as it is the same basically except embossed Fargo instead of Dodge. Thanks in advance

They also have the Canadian only, FARGO tailgate from the same era, both fleetside as it is the same basically except embossed Fargo instead of Dodge. Thanks in advance
Technically, it will fit all late 65-71 (early 65 had a different bed) trucks with the sweptline bed. However, it may not be correct for all years since 71 trucks did not have a stamped tailgate.
My '90. Made of parts from a '90 shorty I had and a '85 long box. '73 360 in it now in place of the TBI 318. Still needs the trim put on the drip rail but I couldn't get it to stay. Paint job is just rolled on Tremclad but its a decent 20 footer ha. Looks better than the mismatched panels it had before at least.
Not the best pic but the best I got for now...9/20 shake down run. 6/5 should be first real full out pass Update; 9/24 best of 4.87 1/8th mi (black traacking thru first gear) .3 more to go...With lots of ways to improve (front strut dampening not even close to correct, Wheelie bar height, Timing tweeking, Converter charge pressure) all have yet to be optimized
Not the best pic but the best I got for now...last year shake down run. 6/5 should be first real full out pass Update; 6/5 best of 5.29 1/8th mi .6 more to go...
My first mopar truck. '88 Ram D100, 3.9 TBI V6, Auto. Buddy turned it into a 440 Shorty, but then said something about the changes done to the '88 frame don't allow headers on a big block? I'm not 100% sure why he gave up on the project. It's a 75,000 km truck, the interior is MINT, body is flawless and rust free.... just needs some assembly. Did another trip out to his place just today and we found a whack of parts he thought he'd lost: shroud, kickdown linkage, headlight buckets, engine brackets....etc....
The last item on my list of things to find is just a 2wd transmission bracket. Then I can really get going on re-assembly!

My 'new to me ' truck.
Having been without a truck since before we moved across country. It was time, and after looking for well over a year , and more aggressively the past couple months .
I bought this one. last month . 2012 Ram 1500 2wd sport. It popped all my buttons. Decent miles for the year, dark interior color was my 1st choice And It had to have a shifter and all OEM paint ( the round dial knob and any aftermkt paint work was a deal killer for me )
I wasnt really looking for this generation truck. As I really wanted a 06 to 08 Dodge quad cab,,,,BUT the hood and all red sport trim level just spoke to me Huge plus is all factory paint and it doesnt have hardly a scratch , dent or ding on it, except for one small nick on the front bumper cover about the size of a dime . Finding an earlier model that fit my needs that didnt have a boatload of miles on them I found out was next to impossible. Not to mention Trucks out here have gone nuts this year price wise. I gave serious thought to go look at a low miles 2001 ram 1500 quad cab. but asking 10,000 . I just couldnt do it .
sup folks - here's pics of our truck/toy - it's an 02 Dakota Quadcab: 440, 46rh, Atlas4, Dana 60 front, 14b rear, and 40" Toyos. It's been in work for over 3 years and is just recently rolling under its own power. It was built to be a 100% streetable rockcrawler/camping machine - I call it a 'Rocklander'.
How it looks right now -
...and this is the toy hauler - 07 Dodge Ram 3500 Megacab 4xDually; 5.9 Cummins, G56 6-speed (pulling the Dak before coming into the operating room...) -
...and while I'm at it, here's the wife's new toy, '94 Jeep Grand Cherokee, 318/auto, 124k miles, runs beau-ti-ful, and all stock...for now -
74 Dodge W950 Power Wagon Crew Cab - 03/20/2201:54 PM
Just made a 3500-mile round trip to bring this back home - I say back home because I built/wheeled it several years ago, sold it in '17, and recently we decided we wanted it back
1974 M-950 Diesel Power Wagon: 6BT Cummins, 47rh, 203/205, rockwells, 46s, painted gen-u-ine USAF Strata Blue
My 2012 Ram 2500 4x4 High Output 6.7L Cummins Turbo Diesel Megacab Laramie Just found this local to me. I don't think I could of found a cleaner 10 year old truck anywhere!
49 Dodge pickup on a 94 Dakota 4x4 chassis, 96 5.2 EFI, 46RE, 3:55 gears. Painted the 2nd week in Aug, 2022. Its 2013-2016 Jeep Cosmos Blue Acrylic Urethane. I drove it all last winter, it is, and will remain, my winter driver. The old pic is what I started with in 2019. The last one is as it sits in the driveway now.
Bought new in 1991 W150 . It has been a super reliable truck . Not sure of the mileage because the odometer stopped working some time ago …. Maybe 250k range. Retired to landfill duties now .
Well, I went and bought a loaded up 2010 Ram R/T. 100% Rust free Florida truck but does have some sunburn on the clearcoat. No worries though, I would trade sunburn for rust any day. I love it! 390 HP with a 4.10 diff. This should be fun!
Just picked up this Black 2008 dodge ram 1500 regular cab short box 4 x 4, TRX4 off-road edition. Not sure I’ve ever seen one and after doing some research it seems like there isn’t a whole lot of them out there. Fun truck though! New tires in the last pic!
Mine is a 2004 SLT 1500 Quad Cab 4x4 with the 8' bed that I bought new in 2005 as a leftover. Added the ARE cap & the stainless steps soon after I got it. About 6 years ago I decided to fix a few mechanical issues & get some rust repaired in the rear wheel wells. Also had to replace the tailgate & rear bumper due to rust. I wasn't planning to do this but when I priced a new truck I almost passed out.
I just recently started to get some rust in the bottom of the cab corners & in the rockers. Not sure how much longer I'd try to keep this truck going but it still runs great, has about 136,000 miles & is still very presentable considering it's pushing 20 years old. I'll have to see what my body shop wants to repair the newest rust areas, but whatever it is going to be it'll still cheaper than a new truck.
thanks Larry ! that thing has come a long way since i hauled it out of the south carolina swamp it was in. hindsight always being 20/20, i should have left it there ! the only thing left of the truck is the basic body. i built the entire chassis and front and rear suspension, and a very good friend of mine did a ton of work on the body to get it where it is, way back in 1980. as the body was worse than ruff, the plan is to leave the finish as is, while perfecting the chassis and running gear, and making the interior nice, but all business. i hope i can get it going under it's own power before i croak.
My truck was originally my back and forth to work, stripped down, slant six manual shift transportation. Later when it was retired I added a 440, T-Flite, narrowed 8 3/4, lowered, factory air, power windows, cruise control, tilt wheel and anything else I could find in the junk yard that my truck didn't have.
