The 62-65 engine is mounted further forward. I'm assuming #7 and #8 tubes go thru the fender well with slip on collectors.. I run what I believe is the same header. Hooker 5320. We've run 4 sets of these on 3 different cars. Two of the cars had the motor moved back close to the 66-70 location. The right side has always fit. The left side depends on how far back the engine is. One set the #7 tube had to be raised to go over the steering shaft. Two sets fit perfect. One set the #1 tube was modified slightly. Doug

The K members are different between 1963 to 1965, 1966 to 1971 are the same. I'm putting a 1967 B body K member in my 1963 Plymouth Fury for better weight distribution, better header selection and so on

I used 2 1/8" for the last set I built - 900HP 550+". 7K. And I used a smallish merge collector. Picked it up over what was on it.
Unless that will regularly see 5-6000 RPM, 2" is too big. The trend is smaller with port matching the headers to the heads as well. Velocity.
If the results don't match the theory, change the theory.
