Due to peer pressure, I have started driving my 4 speed 69 A12 superbee again. Back when I was young and stupid, I converted the car to manual steering because the power streeing was "too heavy and sucked power". Of course I sold or threw away all of the stuff.

Now I'm older, a little smarter, and lazy I don't want to muscle the wheel around anymore. What parts do I need to re-install the power steering?
Obviously a pump, brackets, hoses, gear, and I think a colum. Do I need a differnt pitman arm? What is the correct pump style and gear?

Thanks for your help.

stop over at www.a12mopar.com and click on the lift off forum. It's a whole site dedicated to the lift-off cars. lots of pics and good intelligent enthusiasts. You'll need a column and I would suggest finding a complete 69 set up. Every year varies a little. The guys on the board will have good pics and part#s. By the way, the lift-off reunion is at carlisle this july. I hope you can attend.

Restoring a car to look "only" as good as the factory made it is like getting a boob job for your wife and having the doctor make them two different sizes to seem more natural

Mr. gtsuperbee are you saying that someone over on that site will have photos and maybe even part numbers for power steering for an A12???? Well I'm just going to have to go there and wait for that question to be asked and then see if we I mean those guys invite this A12 owner to the '09 Carlisle A12 reunion. BTW my A12 has power steering (but you knew that Gary) and my '68 RR doesn't which makes it more of a "muscle car" than the ones without......everytime I drive the '68 I feel much more muscular, at least my arms do Now where are those photos of that power steering pump
