Working on a 71 PowerWagon that now has 81 axles and discs up front. It did also have the 81 master and booster, but the master puked and filled the booster with fluid. The peddle was always mushy, my guess is this was because the peddle was a manual peddle. I have yet to find proof that a different peddle was ever produced for power brakes for 69-71.

I would like to try manual discs and see how that works. What master should be used? I have a couple mid 80's aluminum masters from trucks laying around, but none have the groove for the boot or a provision to hold the rod in.

Since this is an experiment, are there any junk yard donors I could use? How about the push rod?
