What little info I collected pointed to Darton Sleeves as being good. Just be sure and go thick enough to do your motor justice. How bad/thin are your current cylinders?

I had my Mega block sleeved last year. Rod broke and piston jammed cracking #3. Standard replacement sleeve. Now it's 4.530" 15-1. No issue with head gaskets. In fact its gone quicker than before it was fixed. It has50 passes so far. No water leaks, it has good power. Ive been pleased with it. Price 8 Darton sleeves and labor. Ouch. Fix what is necesary and move on. Doug Hemi or wedge, what type gasket, who’s piston?

DVW —- What brand/type rod broke ? Spun bearing ? It was a Molnar rod It wasn't the fault of the rod itself. It spun a bearing. Probably made it through at least 2 passes after the damage started before it broke. My fault I knew something was wrong at kept running it. It has Molnar stuff in it again. Doug
