I'm in the process of rebuilding the 273 in my brother's '67 Barracuda notch. After the build is completed, I want to try and match the original red as close as possible. I've heard that one of the International Harvester reds is a very close match. Just wondering if any fellow Moparts members have any suggestions for the proper color.

For the Chrysler Red, I used Bill Hirsch - dead on.
I sprayed it with a gun; covered & flowed great, dried pretty quickly, and not too shiny.
I think it's also available in rattle cans.
FWIW I always use an etch primer over bare metal, and have never had a peeling problem.
For that, rattle cans are fine.

Thanks Topside.
I sent Hirsch an email to see if they have a paint sample to forward to me.

Yes, I have used Hirsch paints for decades...
