The part number for the solenoid is 2642884 and there are a couple now on eBay and a boot:

https://www.ebay.com/itm/185352946322?hash=item2b27e58292:g:ct8AAOSwl1diOkes

https://www.ebay.com/itm/114213963592?hash=item1a97aec748:g:JCIAAOSwpPlerFPX

I might have a solenoid, I will take a look.

I just remembered that I bought one at NAPA a while back. The Echlin number is ST106.

Got the new solenoid but don’t have the plunger like the one on top (not the right one of course) do they sell that? I can’t get to eBay with that like.

I found a plunger, it is 1.61" long, 1.08" diameter. I don't know if it will work for your starter since it came out of a direct drive starter that would not work on my hemi because it had the wrong nose. The part number for the hemi plunger is 1889151.

I also found a cross reference for this number on a website for AMSCO Valley Forge, who sells starter parts. Their part number is W5236. There was no price listed and they want you log-in and register but there is a note that says "do not contact us unless you are a business in the automotive electrical industry".

If you want the one I have, PM me with your address and I will send it you, or you can pick it up near Hagerstown, MD.

Looks right, going to Carlisle? If so I can get it there, I’ll be there Friday and Saturday. I’ll be going thru Hagerstown (Up 81) Thursday evening (sometime depending on how slow wife is)
