He kept talking about the car's intervention which they couldn't totally turn off. I wondered if they were referring to the rev limiter.
And why would they test the car in the rain?!?!?

And why would they test the car in the rain?!?!? They were talking about traction control. Which is why it appears he can't drive as mentioned by another.

All the Japanese are good at is reverse engineering things, they are not good at initial design and construction. Doesn't look like there was any reverse engineering in this effort: Honda NR-series Oval-Piston Racing Engines

All the Japanese are good at is reverse engineering things, they are not good at initial design and construction. So what I am saying is they will perfect it and it will be better than the original just like they always have done... That's why American cars were so much better than Japanese cars in the 80's. LOL Did you actually read AND comprehend what was written.

And why would they test the car in the rain?!?!? I thought he was referring to the electronic stability control. ESC has been mandatory in new cars in Canada, the US, and the European Union since 2011, 2012, and 2014, respectively. He was complaining it wouldn't drift. Fun to watch him come out the corners, hit it too hard / early and fight the wheel to correct.

They wanted it to drift, it wouldn't drift because of the traction control but he was still blown away and amazed by the car even though it didn't do what he wanted it to do.
I wonder if they could just unplug an ABS sensor and the car wouldn't know it was drifting?

You can fully turn off traction control but you have to hold the button down. Just turning it "off" still leaves it on which is likely what they did Very possible. They clearly didn't understand the electronic controls or how to use them.

I wonder if they could just unplug an ABS sensor and the car wouldn't know it was drifting? My SRT has had all four abs sensors replaced so far, but when one went out most all the ‘add’ on things didn’t work, kinda like limp mode.

Interesting to watch and read the comments. Click on the CC in the white box at the menu bar below and it will translate into English. Yes very interesting. From the comment I read it was a bunch of people who don't know how to drive a car telling people how they should drive. Most of them described how great it would be if it was like these nanny cars sold today. Slamming the pedal to the floor and waiting for the rev limiter, traction control, and automatic transmission to take care of the acceleration may be called driving but it doesn't take any skill as a driver. It's no different than sitting in the front of a roller coaster and telling everyone you drove the roller coaster. A real driver knows how to control the car. It's more than just letting the car move forward when you press the throttle.
