Anyone have actual measurements of a E body gastank?
I know Lengt width and total depth are available online but im looking for how deep those tanks are front and back if that makes sense? Considering putting one of them under an abody that dont have the sparetirewell eating up space. but sure dont want a tank that hangs to low in the back therefore actualy measurements of how deep those tanks are would be nice before spending money.
And yes i know the inlet is on the wrong side, thats not a problem.
Thanks

About 10 years ago, I wanted a larger capacity E-Body tank for my 1970 'Cuda. The stock tank has a pretty small capacity in relation to a big block Mopar's thirst. I worked with Hector at Rick's tanks and had him add extra width and a deeper stepped bottom to the stock dimensions. It bolts right into the stock location still, but holds more fuel. A few years back, I added a removable top plate and a couple Holley Hydramats with -10 pick-ups that feed an externally mounted, 2 speed Fuel Labs fuel pump.
I would never go back to a stock tank for many of the reasons you are attempting to resolve with your tank swap. Perhaps, you can give Hector at Rick's Tanks a call and see what might be the best path for you?
1970 Plymouth 'Cuda #'s 440-6(block in storage)currently 493" 6 pack, Shaker, 5 speed Passon, 4.10's 1968 Plymouth Barracuda Convertible 408 Magnum EFI with 4 speed automatic overdrive, 3800 stall lock-up converter and 4.30's (closest thing to an automatic 5 speed going)

Ahhhh, I didn't notice you were from across the pond. I have some Mopar friends in Sweden and Auland Island that might be able to help you out with getting the measurements you need. PM me for their contact info.

Measured my '73 Challenger tank: - 26" long x 23" wide, including what I''ll call the flange that splits the top & bottom sections - forward end of tank is 11-1/2" tall - rear end of tank is 7-1/2" tall
