Trying to convert my 70 Dart 8 3/4 from 10" drum to rear disc brakes. My axle offset is 2.185", all the kits I have tried are (Wilwood 2.36 and 2.50) and the rotor hits the adapter mounting bolts and bracket. The axles are Moser with there MO400 bearing. Anyone ran into this issue? Thanks Matt

A long time ago I installed Strange rear brakes on the Dana in my 69 Barracuda.

I had some very old Strange axles and had problems with the disk alignment.

The final fix was sending the axles back to Strange and they fixed the problem.

I would check with Strange and with Moser who also sells disk brakes.

aren't the 2.360 and 2.500 offset kits for the B-body rears ?
if so, and using those on an A-body rear with the [factory ?] short 2.185 offset, wouldn't one have to compensate for the offset difference [.315-2.500 offset, .175-2.360 offset] by shimming the bracketry or using hub-centric spacers behind the rotors ?
just thinking out loud about what could be done to use what you have.
others may have other ideas or opinions, so hopefully they will chime in.
