It's beer:30 somewhere
While traveling I75 today between Cincinnati & Lexington we passed this. Then luckily at a rest area on down the road we had stopped and he pulled in a while after we did. The car had been at a Nostalgia Drag Race event in OH along with about 40 other cars. Guy said he has had it since around 2008. Car was built into a race car 1966. Then painted that way in the early 70's for around $5000. Was white and faded to that yellowish color it is now but the original owner got upset with the way the paint faded and parked it till this guy got it. Pretty cool car. I believe he said it was a 48' Nash, has a SBC with tunnel ram and a 4 speed. He has pictures of it pulling the front wheels on launch. Said the car surprised him this weekend and pulled the front wheels when he shift into second. Cool car and cool story. Love the Gasser look on these old cars and the Original 70's custom paint work.

The funny thing about science is that if you change one miniscule parameter you change the entire outcome to the way you want it.

I still have a set of NOS '55 Plymouth stainless Sportone side trim left over from my '55. Very hard item to get rid of.

One of my next door neighbors is big into gassers. He's a got a 55 and a 56 Chevy gasser. He sold a 57 gasser last year. He just bought a 64 or 65 Nova and is making that into a gasser as well.
