Took my seats apart, cleaned and painted the frames. The rear seat botom has the usual foam cushion but the upper backrest has like 3"-4" cotton looking batting. Is this original or should it be foam. It's pretty ratty and needs to be replaced anyway but I was wondering what to use. I'm a little diasappointed that my replacement covers don't have the embossed area around the plymouth emblem in the upper backseat either. They're not legendary. Andybody got a die to stamp it in there?

Cotton batting is correct for that seat. I have the same in my 68 Road Runner..
You could try an upholstery supply place or the legendary guys...
