I need to buy a new decal for a 71 charger with the N96 Ramcharger hood. Who makes the most accurate decal? It needs to have the square hole for the trap door scoop.

Been awhile since I've done a 71 AG Charger decal, IIRC there's no hole, you cut the hole and work the decal down into the recessed hood lip under the air door....IIRC the only thing you specify is no R/T cut out, with R/T cut out or Superbee.....personally I'd go with Phoenix Graphics.......

The decal should have an opening but the opening should be painted black first as shown. No prep on the paint from the factory so eventually the black would flake off.

That's what I'm thinking too. They do offer it with the scoop hole precut, and I don't see any other manufacturer offering it precut.
My car has the original decal, and the hole is about 1/4"back from the opening, and had that area blacked out before the decal was installed
