Don't see why it couldn't be legit. But I'm sure from what they are offering on their site. Before anyone drops any coin they would go check them out in person. Went back and read it more closely. Site says Painted and Assembled Roller Chassis models start at 24K. That's pretty dang cheap so that would have me raising my eye brows. At a 24k start what do you get or more important not get.

Their stuff looks nice on their site but with that said. There are several shops that offer the same. Would like to have scene a turn key price on a roller.

I agree. The picture is a rendering so I would want to see the operation and a finished product first.

I agree. Looks like nova quarters and rear sail panel. Interesting concept.

Q & A from their facebook page

Rob Fig
Can you please post what all is included? You just want to make sure I am on the same understanding understanding that you are selling what appears to be mint condition rollers starting at 25,000? Ready for a drivetrain? Are these rollers strictly for the track without a title or Vins? I have tried researching all of this information before asking these questions but I cannot find Posts from anyone else, anywhere online.

ReadyChassis
Hey Rob! Thanks for your interest. Sorry, it took me a few days to get back. So our rollers come in basically three stages of conversion- and the car comes with a VIN if we acquire a core that has a clean IL/MI/WI state slant six or 318 A-body VIN. Our three levels of finish are Ready-2-Rock (Body-in-color, including white - cars are stripped, fully painted, wrapped, caged, suspension mounts, pre-NHRA certified) - That's the starting 25K package. The build allows up to 5K for a titled core (which we acquire, rust-free, mostly exited restoration project cars), and then we have our Ready-2-Roll 'Rolling Chassis' (Adds front and rear suspension, wheels, Tires, pre-wired, race interior, ProGlass, fuel system), and Ready-2-Race which is a complete finished roller (you add driveline, and fuel) at around 45-50K. We have 3 levels of ET - 10.50, 8.50, and 7.50 with corresponding certifications for SFI. We are about 9 months out on orders right now, and the supply chain issues are making some builds longer. We don't do many custom builds, which is how we keep our supply costs lower we do most work in-house and we augment with chassis shops who do work onsite. 2020 was a land grab for cars as the market tightened and everyone wanted to finish their projects, but there are a lot of A-bodies turning out now. The LX and LC chassis cars are way easier to acquire but harder to title given EPA restrictions, although there are some ways around it. We don't sell the car for On-road use, but it's your choice if you want to add lights and signals and pass your state requirements to make it legal

Clean bodies for 5K? A 5K "clean" body is going to need work.

"a complete finished roller (you add driveline, and fuel) at around 45-50K" ? I'm not sure you could do a nice car with decent parts, having someone do the body and paint for you, for that much if you do the work yourself. You'd still have to cut some corners and use some cheap crap somewhere along the line. I see what parts and materials cost everyday as I try to gather up stuff for projects in my shop. Prices have gone way up just in the past few months.

Couple grand here, couple grand there. Couple more grand for the stuff the guy just added. I know what guys are paying for a nice Super Stock roller. bare.

Maybe they have it figured out. but I wouldn't be the guinea pig.

Seems like he thinks he can buy a rust free roller, roll it through a body shop + chassis shop + wheels and tires and still somehow profit when selling at $24,000. As stated, cool concept but doesn't sound like he's done his homework

This sounds a lot like a restoration scam from a few years ago.

In theory, there is no difference between theory and practice. In practice, there is.

1. design the product
2. low ball the price
3. solicit big (non refundable) deposits
4. rely on more and more new deposits to pay self, advertising, rent
5. no R & D is done, because 4. (above)
6. when cost estimate is 200% of 2. (above), and sales volume 90% less, burn the old store down, run to Costa Rica with insurance money

Did I miss anything?

Don't even need a calculator. Just start adding up what stuff costs in your head. Don't forget consumables and materials.

Excuse the sarcasm.
Some of these mfg. simply don't have enough business experience to correctly anticipate the delays, cost over-runs, overhead. It may start with a good plan (not fraud) and simply got away from them.
When you realize you won't get your investment back, you begin to... shall we say, exaggerate delivery dates, features, etc., and then on to bankruptcy.

The "tell"? Way too cheap.

If any of you have been listening to the Talking Mopars Podcast, they have been talking about this company, the Dart they are building, and a lot of their experience and vision for about 2 years now.

They would help their case greatly if their car photos weren't all computer generated images. Even on their social media, a lot of computer generated images. The one pic with the truck in front of the shop...the shop sign is computer generated. The featured cars on their website are not even close to the caliber of the car they are advertising. None of the shop photos even show a remotely close to working shop to be doing the type of work being advertised. Red flags all over!!!

And the world is a very different place than it was two years ago.
