Not to mention there were 5 Challengers qualified. Pretty good showing. Seems like combinations go from competitive to struggling with the stroke of the keyboard on occasion. Wait... am I stating the obvious? 2021 Challenger 6.4L Scat Pack 1320 100% stock: 1.680, 11.894 at 113.75 (DA 175 ft) weight reduction, wheels, tires, Hellcat air box: 1.661, 11.686 at 115.97 (DA 710 ft) 1973 Challenger 452 ci street/strip [2008] pump gas, DOT radials: 1.454, 10.523 at 126.44 (DA 514 ft)

Big MPH on a lot of the Dodges. Horsepower! It was great to see a stock bodied class that wasn't just a sea of Camaros. The fans seemed very excited. I realize any of the classes are vulnerable to the NHRA pen but ProStock better watch out with all it's lopsidedness. Those Factory Stockers are fun to watch! I had know idea they were that fast. Guess I've been watching too much JJ DA BOSS and not enough NHRA. Bill

I think in the end they decided to call the class Factory X. Also in 2023 there may be a Factory E class.

May look something like this.... Certainly appears to be the new pro stock, yet I dont know how this fits in as all those cars are said to be going electric in a few years Typical NHRA, they been building these cars for 15 years and they make a class for them in the 11th hour Last edited by Dart 500; 03/17/22 02:06 PM.
