Does or has anyone used the hooker 5320-1hkr header, and if so how was the fit etc.? I have a '67 Belvedere bracket car with a lo deck and indy -1 heads. There is a new set local to me for sale but looking for experience before I spend the cash. Thanks!

What size pipes and collector on them and are they a race only set or street and strip application?
I don't recognize that part number and don't want to look it up shruggy

Sorry, yes they are a race only header. 2 1/8" primary w/ 3 1/2" collector and have an adjustable slip tube collector extension. The front and rear tubes are separate from the center 2, and it looks like the rear tubes go thru the fenderwell and around the frame. Nice looking stuff, I just don't want to waste the money if I have to beat the hell out of the like I did my Hedman Hustler 2" headers.

I’ve used 3 pairs of them. All -1 high deck. Two different cars. Two pair needed slight mods to the left side. All depends on where the engine sat. The left rear tube goes over the steering shaft. That can get tight if the engine is low or rearward. Torsion bar clearance was tight on the last pair. I moved the middle of the #1 tube on the current set. Was pretty easy. Plugs are accessible by reaching under. Number 5 is a little tough.

That's a GREAT header design. You'll notice it's been used to 900HP on DVW's car. Long time ago I looked at them to see if there was room for improvements on those and I quickly decided they're pretty good!
