What is the Highest static compression you would run a roots blown Hemi on 93....and low boost for street? I ask, because in race mode, we are going to run Methanol with real boost....

How many pounds you want on the street. 5-10 psi?
You can run 10-1 at 5

This is what I am thinking...10:1 at 5psi or less on the street, and 12psi on Meth would easily be safe....But can I get away with more? Hemis will tolerate a good bit of compression on 93.....My engine builder wants to keep it to 9:1.....But I don't think an 8-71 is going to be able to feed a big 528 or 540 more than 12-14psi, but I could be wrong...So I thought we will raise base compression to help.

You would crap if you knew my compression lol.

Methanol will like the higher compression but pump is going to be picky.

What injection? Lots of factors but I'd want more then 12 pounds for a race tune. At least 20.

I run race gas but buying parts to go to Methanol . I plan on swapping late summer or over next winter.

I've used 9.3 to 1 on CA pump swill on a 484 C.I. Mega block blown pump gas street 426 type Hemi, it made 930 at 7300 RPM with 7.5 lbs of boost (12% underdriven) with 33 degrees BTDC total timing using a MSD7AL3 ignition up
We switch pulleys and switch to C14 race gas and reduce the total timing to 25 BTDC and it made 1027 HP at 6500 RPM with 12.0 lbs. of boost before going into detonation whiney shruggy I should have tried 20 degrees first and went from there realcrazy That was with a BDS 10:71 blower and 2 1050 CFM Carb Shop blower Dominator carbs. wrench
ITHS up
