i have spent 2 years rebuilding my duster to go faster. the car was ready to go the end of feburary only to have the first two tnt get rained out. loaded the car up drove 1348 miles to MATS and broke my stall converter on the very first pass.the next chance to race was this weekend as local points race 1 and 2 was sat. and sun. off the trailer for a shake down pass being easy on it i went 10.68 @ 127. managed to go to the 4th round on sat and 2nd round on sun. most of the remaining passes were between 10.32 and and 10.36 @131 to 132 60' times were in the 1.55 to 1.60 neighbor hood so lots of room to work there. i did no tuning on the car and tried to consentrate on tuning the driver

There still W's as far as I'm concerned. It sounds like you have a solid 10.0 car there when you get that thing to 60'. Good job getting it out.

Its definitely going to go faster! Once you get the car to 60 foot, its gonna fly! I would imagine that you should be in the 1.35 60 foot range. Maybe faster depending on the trans/converter you have.

10.53 @ 125mph. 1.37 60 foot. Caltracs and Monoleafs, AFCO shocks.

Heads by INDIO MOTOR MACHINE; IMM.
CP Pistons, PC Carbs.

Congrats Martin! I still think you NEED an 8" converter that will stall around 5200-5400.
I agree 1.35 should be a goal, and then chip away at it. You have enough HP to run 9's all day.
Glad you finally got to run it!!!!
