I'll have to scan some of the build process pic's I have and E mail them to you. The chassis was pretty simple in the'79 truck (and worked very well)It was a 2X3 "A" Arm/Ladder bar set up. I build Drag Chassis ( W.I.N. Racing & Custom Automotive) to support my drag addiction. If you were closer we could work something out but ...
Anyway I'll get some pic's together and send them off
Bill

It was an awesome truck, but sitting in it was really cramped on my legs....

I remeber it from NYIRP where you used to run it once in a while. You had me steer while you towed it back to the pits once.

Here's one, Joe The Truck! '74 D100, I think the only option boxes the original owner checked were "318 V8", "Automatic", and "Step bumper". If I live to be an old man, I want to be an old man in this truck.

Heres' some recent pics of my 1995 at the track. 414" indy-headed SB with factory NV-3500 stickshift. 8 3/4" spooled rear & McCreary EC-1 treaded bias plys. 1.7 short times, crappy shifting, and then 12.2's at 116mph. Need a real transmission to get the power to the ground.

Here's an early video with the 5500rpm chip in the box. Nowadays, i keep the 6800 chip in there.

Here's my 2002 Dakota 5.9 R/T. Changing setups at the moment. It went 11.3@120 with a Paxton supercharged 360, currently building a 425ci R3 with W5 heads and a healthy shot.
