Can anyone tell me what these numbers mean or how to decode them myself??
XP29F 72 168119
S6W YY1 T5 5A IO29 this was on the certi-card hooked to the radiator support...

The fender tag reads:
54 074
1 21 1
2 S6W DD1 B W
XP29 41 5 435 A12 08145

I have never tried to decode a 67 car before and don't know where to go to do it....Thanks MOPARTS

On the Certicard, the top line is the VIN:

XP29 = Charger
F= 318 engine
7= Model year 1967
2=Assembly plant = Hamtramck
168119= Sequence number

Line two of Certicard:
S6W= interior code= Sport;vinyl bucket seats; white
YY1= exterior color = Light tan metallic
T5= transmission code= automatic
5A= this would be SA meaning standard axle meaning no Sure Grip
IO29= Scheduled production date. The "I" was used for a "1" so this means 10 (October) 29th.

The fender tag reads:
54 074
1 21 1
2 S6W DD1 B W
XP29 41 5 435 A12 08145

Bottom to top:
XP29= Charger
41= engine = 318/2bbl
5= Automatic transmission
435= tire code. 43 = 7.75x14 WW 5 tires included
A12= Secheduled production date = October 12th
08145= Sales Order number

A/2 = rear axle code = 2.94 gears in 8.75 axle
S6W - interior code same as above
DD1 = exterior color = medium light blue metallic
U/B = inner upper door frame color = Black
S/W = white accent stripe

Line two: the letter codes are needed to be sure on this one. I think...

A/1= 26" radiator
R/2= Radio = Astrophonic AM
S/1= A/C
X/1= Tinted windows; all

a/5= center front seats with folding armrest
b/4= bucket seats
g/0= belt line molding
h/7= turn signals on fender/hood
j/4= body sill molding.

It does not appear this Certicard goes with this fender tag. The SPDs are different as well as the exterior colors. Does the VIN on the certicard match the VIN number on the car? Does the SO number on the tag match the numbers on the body?

The VIN sequence on the car that goes with this tag should be in the 154XXX range.

Interesting regarding the certicard, 10-29-1966, the scheduled build date, was a Saturday.

So we got the VIN on the certicard, what is the VIN on the car?
