Reaching out to see if anyone has any guidance on how to remove the trim around the rear window on a 65 Coronet 500. Have successfully removed all the trim except for this piece. Appears to be a very small spring loaded clip that needs pulled up independent of the trim and then it pops out but none of the tools I have tried so far are small enough to get behind it. Posted on B Bodies only and was suggested it was same as front. It is not the same as front so hoping someone on here has some insight.

Thanks in advance.

I think you need the special trim removal tool to open them up to remove the trim, I don't know the name or brand sorry confused
Is Ripley CA were you live?
The reason I'm asking is I lived in Blythe in the late 1950 up to Nov.1961, haven't been back to Ripley or Palo Verde since then shruggy
Hopefully the entire Palo Verde Valley is still mainly farming and ranching luck

Nothing to be sorry about, isn't that coal mining territory?

Hey Bryan

I'm trying to get a handle on the "correct" clips for the window trim clips sets. Can you share a a picture (and qty count) of the clips? Also a measurement of the longest side. Most companies sell a green clip that "looks" similar. But I had a local customer with a 65 Belvedere that brought a clip that, again, looked similar but was larger. The green ones being sold are like 1" wide and the one the customer showed me was like 1-1/2" wide. Maybe the green one work, just a different size.

Thanks!

Will do. Need to get a few more for mine on the lower side. Some of the folks on B Bodies only say the Ford or similar clip will work. PM me if I forget to post here please.
