Here's the Truck I raced in the late 80's-early 90's Best ET/ Speed 9.73 @ 142 mph  440ci Hemi/727

Bill, got to say I Love That Truck...!!!! Have a few pics of it that I found, do you have any chassis pics...???? Am building very similar (83 Ram) and looking for info....!!!!! Any help appreciated...!!!!

Just as I finnished this one, Koffels came out with theirs. I was (at the time) shooting for the fastest drag P/U in the nation but they beat me to the punch(first and faster)At the time -1989- the fastest recorded drag truck was 11.30's. I guess I can try with my current truck, I dont know who or what the quickest ET p/u is any more. The new truck (see previous posts)is 2100HP at 2600lbs so she'll move pretty quick.
Oh, Koffels truck (black over Red)was in '89 trim and did wind up in Sweden

I'll have to scan some of the build process pic's I have and E mail them to you. The chassis was pretty simple in the'79 truck (and worked very well)It was a 2X3 "A" Arm/Ladder bar set up. I build Drag Chassis ( W.I.N. Racing & Custom Automotive) to support my drag addiction. If you were closer we could work something out but ...
Anyway I'll get some pic's together and send them off
