Mayor W ..... 91$ retail ? 74 beans is a deal ? Where is that price of 26 clams for 5 quarts of the 12633 spec oil ? Mayor .... SRT oil approaching 1260 yen per quart ? What da fugg ! Do these thimk that we all own a huge potato farm in IdaHOE ? Come on Doc, don't be so CHEAP. You had the money to buy a 6.4 Hemi powered car so I'm sure you can afford the Pennzoil Ultra 0W40 synthetic oil. If you keep an eye on Walmart and Napa's websites, I'm sure it goes on sale periodically. Do you have any connections with a Chrysler dealership or a Mopar Performance warehouse? If you do, you could probably get a deal on the oil.

mopJ ..... be very happy to share what deal I had .... repeat HAD Wally World 5 quart jug of 12633 Valvoline oil ..... 26 clams A case of 12 899 Mopar filters ... 50 beans .... STILL have a bunch of filters left .... but no oil. Wally World used to offer both Penn and V in jugs ... no more. V has been dropped completely! In fact in my initial investigation.... NO ONE offers that spec oil in jugs anymore!

I buy Mobil 1 0w-40 in the 5 quart jug from Walmart. Every day price is several dollars cheaper PER QUART then autozone or Oreilly. And occasionally walmart does a sale on it. Hard to beat.Been buying my Mobil 1 oil there for 10 years of SRT driving.

From another website. I know I'm an idiot (sorry), but how are we supposed to know if a particular oil is certified for MS-12633, or only meets MS-12633? Is there a difference? The question was posted by Dr.J. Another Doc asking the same question????? It is just a ploy to get you to buy the Pennzoil. FCA is in bed with them and came up with this new spec to sell more high dollar oil.
The simple fact is, they can not require you to use any specific oil unless they provide it free of charge. It is against the law. The recommendation is 0w-40 synthetic in the manual. If you use this, regardless of brand or MS spec number, you are still covered under the warranty. https://www.ramforumz.com/threads/dumb-question-about-ms-12633.209978/
Kayse can't keep up at all now. lol
