Been many years since I put a radiator in a street vehicle. My 77 dodge truck will have about 750 hp and will be frequently driven on the street. What radiator do you guys recommend? I plan to use a separate cooler for the transmission . Thanks

If there's nothing wrong with the original radiator I would start with that.

Guessing it is large dimension?

The biggest two core aluminum radiator you can find. The cores should be 1.00 inch minimum and 1.25 is better. You can’t get much bigger than that on the tubes because the radiator gets so thick it restricts air flow. Ignore the copper/brass cools better because it doesn’t in a correctly sized and built radiator. 4 small tubes don’t flow as well or cool as good as 2 big tubes. You can’t use big tubes with a copper/brass radiator because the materiel isn’t strong enough if you make the tubes that big.

Just because you think it won't make it true. Horsepower is KING. To dispute this is stupid. C. Alston

I'm running a Speed Cooling radiator/fan combo and it's the coolest my car has ever run.

We've ran the same big Be Cool aluminium rad in 3 combo's. 528, 580 and a 655, had it for 20 years now. On all of them you can watch the temp come down when the fans (Spal) kicks in up

This one has worked pretty well for me for awhile now.

For the dollar spent and how few issues there have been with it, I can't complain.
Did have to weld on brackets.
