Should work no problem. Those center breathers can be tough to find.

Yes, those will clear. As mentioned the breathers are hard and expensive if you find them. I have a set of those Mopar Performance covers also. I went with a set of Indy covers that has a shocker tower relief in the passenger cover which helps on my car if you look closely in the engine on the stand picture. They clear my RBRE rocker system.

I didn't know that a cover was available with a relief in it. Were those designed with the A body in mind? If i could avoid modifying the shock tower I will be ecstatic.

These look nice, but i dont think they have relief.

what makes the breathers hard to find ? i know how almost everything a guy want's nowadays is back ordered, but what makes those breathers so different than others ?
i am gen 2 hemi ignorant, so please don't beat on me too hard !
i'm just trying to learn new stuff.

I have the same Indy valve covers as 6PKRT, but mine had to be milled inside to clear.

They were sold separately from the valve covers. I see a lot more valve covers for sale than I do breathers.

For the breathers, see https://www.goodvibesracing.com/Burndown_Tubes.htm ... I purchased a set of C-7197. They are pretty tall and pretty expensive ... but we're talking Hemi here so you need to bring Hundred dollar bills to buy even small parts!

It took me some time to find them at Good Vibrations Motorsports. These type breathers show up on eBay and RacingJunk every so often but they are always $200 - $300 or more for a pair.

Thanks for the info on the center breathers guys should i go that route. Can anyone point me to all the companies making the covers with the relief for the shock tower? I assume that relief is ment for A body cars which would be a big time saver since this hemi is going in an A body.

Thanks for the Good Vibrations Racing tip I will have to remember that. There is a guy who makes them out in Nevada whose name I would have to dig up. The breathers were sold by Mopar Performance but like most things they no longer do. Companies like Mooneyes sells breathers like them but the bolt spacing is usually not the same as a lot of these hemi covers use. Todd

AFAIK Indy is the only one that makes the notched covers. Mine are Indys, but aren't the notched ones. Don't think they made them when I got mine. I highly recommend the notched ones, lol.

I used these - they fit - they are the 64-65 re-pops - I use the tall felpro gasket to get a little extra clearance

I have a set of those valve covers without the 572 on them. They are newly used with the breathers. PM for pics or info.
