We were thinking about buying our leased ram but the dealer seems to want it.We might want a lower payment.So we were thinking about a challenger or charger.Hemi or V6 any thoughts?

Challenger vs Charger should be relatively easy. How much do you use the back seat ? ( don't forget the convenience of putting things back there like groceries etc.)
hemi vs V6 ? look at thw MPG difference and how you use the car
resale wise? Challenger with the hemi 1st, Charger hemi 2nd, Challenger V6 3rd, Charger v6 4th IMO
Might also want to check what Carvana, vroom and a few of the other online buyers are offering for your truck as there is a shortage on new ones driving the used prices up

As a daily driver, assuming you get snow and ice there, you are better off with the truck.
Though an AWD Charger would do fine.
The Challenger has a function where when you lift the door handle to open the door, the window lowers about 1/4”.
As us who have the misfortune of living in the snow belt know, sometimes the window freezes up and won’t go down. Friends of mine in the area who have had Challengers have complained about that.

I couldn't even imagine giving up my truck for a car.........any car.

Well we checked things out.The inside of dealer had no cars/trucks.Alot of young sales people sitting there.The lady we talked with initially was just someone to get us in there.They handed us off to a guy at a computer who we could barely hear because the music they were playing had so much base it wasn't funny.More to come..Gotta go to work

They had a nice Challenger T/A ...My wife loved the color,kinda like goldish/greenish color and it was a wide boidy 392 hemi car made the other challengers/chargers look like nothing.lol.Then we saw a blue rubicon,gladiator type jeep truck very cool.Then they tried to put us in a wihite WILLYS stripped down gladiator jeep ,we couldnt come to a agreement,and they didnt know what our payment would be our truck is worth 37,000 our lease payoff is 27,000,and they wouldnt work stuff out.Were ok there was alot of questions about the deal anyway.So my wifes going to get a loan through our credit union on what we owe on the lease.Will keep our hemi truck,and have a lower payment.And continue to enjoy our hemi truck,its like a old friend,weve been through alot together.

Payment and debt load are 2 different things; better to reduce debt load than to view only a monthly payment.

At the dealer I go to if you would have asked about any deal you would have had an answer in 5 minutes or less, and no loud music.

Yeah my wife and i knew about the incentives,they didnt discuss anything about them either.It was their way or the highway. That dealership has gone way downhill.

I'm glad you decided to buy back the Ram. They wanted it bad since used prices have gone up so high. Carmax or Carvana will pay you thousands more for it than your buy out without even seeing it.

My 2010 Challenger used to sit out all winter. What a treat that feature was...
