i replaced the Fluidampr with a ATI. the mandrel/pulley now sits about 1/8" closer to the motor, so of course the belt alignment is off. is there a spacer or shim available that i can use to correct this?? in my situation, adding a spacer would be easier than changing the alternator mount, which is welded to the frame. thanks for any help

Just cut one out of 1/8 aluminum and drill the holes.
thanks
that idea crossed my mind, 6 thick washers was also a thought.

You get an even contact surface with the full shim. The crank snout spacers are .095,Indy has them, you need .125+

Update....did some more measuring with a straight edge across the mandrel, and the difference turned out to be 3/16". i'm in a hurry to get it on the road, so the problem was solved by removing that amount from the backside of the alternator where the main mounting bolt goes through, and put washers in the front. the pulleys line up perfect now thanks for the help!!!
