Anyone going to the Hot August Nights Cruise and show in Lewiston, Idaho Aug 26-28 ? I went in 2019 almost by accident and it is a great event! They shut down the main drag and only the Hot Rods that have signed up are allowed in to park and of course, it is open for pedestrians to ogle the cars. I have been on the Power Tour twice back in the ninety's, Woodward Dream Cruise four times and done the Cruisin the Coast in MS and I have to tell you, that while this is nowhere near the size of those, it is WAY Bigger than I expected and the quality of the cars was as good as any . I figured that maybe one hundred cars might show up(What the heck did I know?), but I bet it was close to a thousand all told, they come out of the woodwork from many surrounding towns in ID and Washington and they have additional car shows in some of the local parks for those who might not want to pay to be part of the main cruise. I met lots of friendly folks, ate lots of good food and my wife and I were treated very well by all, even when they saw the Texas tags on my 69 Satellite! I have to say, that if you live anywhere near there and held off going, you are missing out on a fun time! If you are going, shout out and maybe we can hook up! Lee.
