I don't know the answer to yours or Ron's question. I just know I have a lifetime + supply of 51773 filters. I had no idea way back when I ordered them ma mopar changed the standpipe on the '08 and later Hemis. Ah, well, I just let the dealer do them these days...

I think it depends on what they have in stock at the time. My last order from Filter1 was all WIX. Suppose the have no control over what is sent to them from Wix.
I think if you order an XP version you will get Wix as there is no M-H equal for that one.

I ordered a bunch of 51515 then sold the truck. Fortunately they fit my Ford tractor.

I remember a post about Wix filters and that they were now in the group being made overseas and no longer of the quality they use to be. It also had a list of the best rated filters following comprehensive testing. I wish I could find the chart but I do remember some of the top ones were K&N, Amsoil, Mobil1, and Royal Purple.
