I bought some spray bomb stuff from a little store called Canadian Tire... ever hear of it? I can't remember what brand it was, but it was caliper paint.
Good luck eh.

Yes I checked there but all they have is wild colours. I want a natural cast iron look.

OK , let me ask this way, how hot do calipers get???

I have seen some high temp paints at CarQuest. I used one that was supposed to be an aluminium color on my Durango. I didn't end up liking the color, so I changed to a "cast" color. They do have a "cast" finish at CarQuest too. I think it is a Krylon brand.

I have had good luck with Eastwoods spraypaints. Alumablast, spraygray and there's another one I can't remember the name of. They aren't high temp paints but I havn't ever had a problem with them flaking. Maybe that's because I always spray clear over every color I use. The clear seems to "seal" out the moisture and accually protect the color coats.

I'm sure people will say that you have to use a high temp caliper paint, but I have seen plenty of high temp paints flake and rust off. I think it is all in the preperation.

Engine paint seems to work well too. You should be able to get that in almost any color.
