DOT requirements for standardized date codes on tires went into effect during the 1971 calendar year

prior to that BFG tires appear to have a un-date-able serial number shruggy what's on your spare?

Dan,

Keith (musclecarman15) called me yesterday to inquire about the Space Saver for my 340 Cuda convertible 3/31/71 SPD.

Here are the photos, showing the code specific to my tire/wheel. CAMAK 1CU

Take a peek and let us know what you come up with!

Thanks,

Bill Rolik

that appears to be the '71-up STANDARDIZED DOT format - what else is there to the right scope

CA - manufacturer - BFG plant AKRON OHIO
MA - size - F78-14
K1CU - type - officially ?? (belted space saver)
? ? ? - date -

did they get rid of the 6-hole wheel during the '71 model year?

No other codes of any type anywhere on the tire!
