I know, different strokes for different folks but I'll pass. When I climb into a hotrod, I want to hear (and feel) it. If that's your dream car, kmock yourself out.

I agree Tim. They said it best in this video attempting to prepare us muscle car people for the future when they mentioned how accepting millennials are of EV's. Of course THEY are because they know nothing of that sound, that feeling of an internal combustion V8 when you romp it. There's nothing like it. That's why they've been around for over 100 years and we're still loving them.
Facts are stubborn things.

You are in luck, the girls over at All Girls Garage just put a set of fake mufflers in a Tesla that will allow you to use an app and make it sound like a real car, ties into the computer so when you hit the gas it revs up the sound.

“Evolve to survive”....Stellantis.....Yup, the average millennial will want an EV and they’re being indoctrinated to believe that the EV will save the planet. During this transition, Stellantis will slap a Fratzog emblem on an expensive, muscle electric car to satisfy some old guys. How many more years before car cruises become shunned as “polluting events”, a.k.a., super spreader events for oil burners? The social justice warriors and environmentalists are well-schooled over the last year and will use protests, social media and whatever else to stop the ICE. In not too many years, these same people will protest and try to close your local gas station. If Vietnam vets were spat on for being baby killers, don’t be surprised if the same occurs for driving a gas-operated car. Scoff at it, but it easy to envision.
China is the enemy.

They could ban gas powered cars today and it would take 25 years minimum to fully switch over to electric, so I doubt you'll see that happen.

And when they do ban selling fuel for internal combustion engines there will be people building homemade stills to run the cars on alcohol or anything else they can distill and run their cars on.
It's amazing how people see electric cars as green when they really aren't. Toxic battery disposal will have to be dealt with after just a few years since they will wear out, and much faster than they ever admit to. The car may seem green, but the coal fired power plant that's recharging the car isn't. There will always be carbon emissions from the point of manufacture of the vehicle all through it's use even if it isn't directly from the vehicle.
It's a technology that's being shoved down everyone's throats whether they want it or not. I have no problem with technology changing, but it shouldn't be forced on the public especially when it hasn't proven it's self as the best choice. The big lie of electric vehicles is mileage range, it's never what they say it is and it gets worse as the car ages and the batteries wear out.
Kayse can't keep up at all now. lol

The saving grace of EV's will be solid state batteries, a current car with a 300 mile range will turn into 3000 mile range. The batteries currently exist in pacemakers and they say you'll start seeing them in cars in 5-7 years

Notice how both comments are turned off and the like/dislike ratio is hidden.
I love electric tech, but this video trash. We didn't get to see anything meaningful of the new car and instead got nothing but hype with an attempt to change definitions of words to increase excitement.
'Dodge will not sell electric cars, Dodge will sell eMuscle'.
Marketers....need to be chained to an anchor and dropped into the deepest and darkest depths of the ocean. [censored] these idiots.

I've noticed that YouTube videos now only have a number counter on the LIKE side but not on the DISLIKE side. Sort of smacks of a participation trophy mentality.
