I have a 318 that seems to be leaking oil from the dipstick. This only happens after a run on the highway. Can you have too much oil pressure?

Oil pressure won't cause that. Do you have a PCV and breather setup?

Should have a pcv in one side and a breather in the other so it can breathe.

One of the valve covers has to have a vent that may go to air cleaner housing or straight into atmosphere. It's taller than a flat cap for sure, and usually can have fiber filling that you can see through small holes.

A parts store might have a breather that will replace that cap. You have to have air coming in the valve cover opposite the one with the PCV in it for the system to work. Which is why you need a breather.
