I got a pair for Christmas several years back. I like them but seldom use them. My biggest complaint is that they don't lay flat as it it comes up over the top of the fender. I'd either catch the part sticking up, or I'd hit the raised part and it would knock a tool off. It's kinda like throwing a door mat over your fender. Take a look at this sales pic to see what i mean.

I use just a thick beach towel and I never lay any tools on it. I have a rolling bench with wheels locks that I use for random tools. Better safe than sorry.
It really doesn't matter whether you win or lose… as long as you look good doing it!
