That is the original dip stick and tube on my 69 383 GTS, I found orange on the tube and dipstick handle so I painted it that way when I restored it.

Look at pic, my car was 100%... I thought the dip stick handle was suppose to be painted black, and the tube had a bend in it for a big block a-body car. In the photo your tube looks straight. So are the repo dip sticks & tubes being sold today for a 68/69 big block Dart totally wrong? Also what should the dip stick say on it other then add & full. Should it have a part number on it. Thanks... Can anyone else help out with the questions I've ask? Thank you.

The tube is definitely bent where the clamp bolts on the motor mount boss, look closer...

The tube is definitely bent where the clamp bolts on the motor mount boss, look closer... I thought the oil dip stick & tube came out between the engine block and the exhaust manifold not on the outside of the exhaust manifold.
