Kayse and I will be there Friday afternoon, Saturday and Sunday.
We'll be there with the Challenger.
If we're in our usual spot we'll be parked by the lake with a buddy and his Hellcat Challenger.
Kayse can't keep up at all now. lol

We went over Thursday to pick up our credentials and to look things over. New promoters this year so there are changes. The place is really a mud hole after all the rain. Many cars will be parked in the street. Vendor count looks to be down significantly. Cruise route is marked out on the pavement. Things are certainly different, we'll just have to see how it goes.

I can't go this year, but I hope to next year. I notice there are only 3 hotels in town and they are all booked and charging 3 times their normal price. For next year, where would you recommend staying? You'll have to check with the surrounding towns. We are a rural area especially Du Quoin itself. Benton/West City would be my first choice at 20 minutes away. Then West Frankfort, followed by Marion, Mt Vernon, Carbondale....... I live next to Benton. If there is anything I can do to help, just ask.
