Wife and I are making a trip to Myrtle Beach next weekend, so is gas really short now or should that situation be corrected by next weekend

Should be OK by then. I am in Conway just outside of Myrtle Beach and I gassed up this morning with only one car ahead of me.

Central NC along I-85/40 here, and there are stations that still have gas. Just filled up the wife's ride today at Sheetz in fact. They obviously had gas, although they were out of the mid-grade my Ram uses. Things should be even better by the weekend. up

East side of Raleigh here...
I found some for the daily this morning without waiting (on the corner across from the station where the loogie-spittin' idiots were that were on the news, no less), but everywhere looked to be out again this evening. Luckily, I also had over a half tank in both Challengers. Yesterday was beautiful, so I drove the old one to work. At least the truck's full now, so I should be good to make it to work and back for another week.

I did see an F150 with one of those big square (what are they, 300 gallons?) totes with the cage around it earlier. It looked to be empty. I guess they were planning to suck a pump dry at some point, though.

1968 Charger project. I don't have a fender tag or a buildsheet, so it's getting a 440. Help me decide on a color--most everything looks great! (NOT white. My Challenger is white. Need some variety :D)

Our Pacifica gets close to 30MPG on the highway, so we''ll probably fill it in Va or NC

Thanks y'all

I was at Myrtle Beach bike week all last week, drove to Charlotte and Florida in the last couple of days, now in Virginia Beach and heading to Tryon, NC in the morning. MB is always fun! boogie Anyone needing parts to go to the midwest in the next day or so better get a hold of me! wave Gas was tough to find last Thursday and riding Harley's around was not good as they only take 3=5 gallons, but luckily I had gotten gas on Tuesday so I had enough. Heading back to Charlotte on Friday was interesting to say the least! All in all it didn't affect me too much. All is good now, though the MSM is still saying that 30% of the stations still do not have gas in VA and NC. Stick with truck stops like Loves and Pilot/FlyingJ as they have their own truck fleet and none have been out of fuel that I stopped at. No midgrade and premium out there much, first time I had ever put 87 in my bike. but it ran fine...

Everything seems to be back to normal now. When you get near Sparky's Fireworks on Hwy. 501 on your way home...honk the horn. I live near there.
