Hi all!

My turn signals suddenly died but hazzards still working. They seem to come on but well, they don’t flash intermittently as they’re supposed to. Figured out it might be due to a dead relay and ordered one yesterday.
I had a long look at both the general service manual and the electrical manual but couldn’t quite identify where this „relay bank“ is actually located. Car's parked a few miles from here so can’t look.

thanks
rory

Sounds like you may have a bulb out.

Well as I said the lights front and rear on both sides do come on but they just stay on.
When I actually did have a blown bulb it just prevented normal operation on that side IIRC.

Should be easy to spot though and luckily the relay wasn’t exactly expensive.
UPS unfortunately was though! whistle

www.rockauto.com is usually good for that kind of stuff if your local auto supply doesn't have and you can find the measly 5% discount code online

Yeah I’ve used Rockauto in the past and they’re amazing, thanks for reminding me.
In this particular case however I decided to give some love to a friend’s business which meant having to put up with high shipping costs.
Guess I should’ve waited a bit longer and place a bigger order later. Then again: turn signals are kinda essential!

Turn signals ARE essential to courteous drivers like us.

Finally got round to fixing things. So yeah: relay location was where you said it was. Obviously there are two of them the more accesible one’s the flasher relay with the hazzard light relay being the one next to it to the right.
Swapped the relay for spare and all fine now. Took me under 10s for the actual “repair“. So that’s nice!

Never heard of a "turn signal relay" on an F body.
Sounds like a bad turn signal flasher. Should be as common as dirt.i just bought a pair of them for my D150 (same part as an F body takes) those cars didn't have many relays on them from the factory
