Just ordered Ray Bartons rocker system, seemed to be the best laid out rocker system for the gen2's and was a month away when ordered. He has sold over 800 sets of them.

I'm using the MP/KB blue billet aluminum stands.
Can't go wrong w/ Stage V though.
Only thing bad about the Barton setup is the price, lol.

Mopar Performance here.

Angelucci had some similar ones with the steel inserts, but their site says sold out, I don't know if they're going to make any more.

https://angeluccimfg.com/collection...6-hemi-rocker-stands?variant=21644887233

The purple ones Arruzza used to sell + that other folks have available seem to be in use on alot of engines, I'll probably try them on the next one if
Angelucci is out.

Which stands allow the geometry of the intake and exhaust rockers to be adjusted separately?

[crickets]

"What?"

Devorak used to sell stands that he modified to allow the ability to remove the rocker shafts with out removing the stands. Has anyone ever ran a set? I know his health is not well so I think he's winding down so he's not making anymore.

And I'm wondering why no one else has made any?

Stanke Motorsports makes very nice billet stands for the Gen II Hemi.

Angelucci will be making more soon. He had to replace some tooling on the CNC and is squaring everything up. He was hoping to start making some this month. I have been waiting for a set since November. Last October a guy building Hemi's for Chrysler bought out his entire inventory. Will be calling him next week to find out his progress.

ANY stand will do the job the OP is asking.

(If it fits a standard Gen 2 head & you're not spinning outrageous RPM's)

Not sure why people seem to perfer aluminum for these. The factory iron will not have the high thermal linear expansion rate of aluminum.

Cheaper to make, cheaper to ship.

Thats why the MANUFACTURERS perfer aluminum. Not the people in this thread. But i get what you are saying.

Of course.
Just from the visual aluminum isn't flexible enough in those dimensions to not keep the shafts aligned.

Well with the same amount of heat in the engine, the shafts are gonna grow further away from the cam with the aluminum stands than with the iron stands. Lash is going to vary MORE

Probably just due to weight. shruggy Everything is heavy on a hemi.

Alright, I was curious so I roughly calculated the thermal expansion of a rocker stand in Aluminum (6061) and cast iron (gray).

We're talking a difference between the two of .003" to .004" tops.
