Don't use a gasket. That's what the o-ring is for.

Chip, have you used this pump without the gasket before? The tech guy at Milodon told me to use both and that seemed a little strange to me. Yessir, I use that pump on the hemi in my cuda. Been using the same pump since 2003 and have always used only the O-rings b/t the pump and the block. There's no reason for anything else.
