I painted the top side with some brake fluid. Will it work to remove the factory paint? Will it harm the elctrowelded piece of crap factory intake? Neil The Doctor is in. Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 20,599 Eagle, Idaho	I'd just use paint stripper and a wire brush instead. Factory engine paint has no hardner in it and most of it should come off fairly easily.

I have several containers of open brake fluid. As humid as it gets here in TN? I won't use it if it is open for very long. Gotta get rid of the extra stuff. Got lots of open brake fluid! I used some brush on stripper on another intake. It had less than stellar results. It wasn't cheap!
