Thought I had some paint stripper to clean off an aluminum super six intake. I painted the top side with some brake fluid.

Will it work to remove the factory paint?

Will it harm the elctrowelded piece of crap factory intake?

I'd just use paint stripper and a wire brush instead. Factory engine paint has no hardner in it and most of it should come off fairly easily.

It would work but i would be worried with how the new paint would stick afterwards

Brakekleen should fix that. I have several containers of open brake fluid. As humid as it gets here in TN? I won't use it if it is open for very long. Gotta get rid of the extra stuff.

Money is tight. Got lots of open brake fluid!

I used some brush on stripper on another intake. It had less than stellar results. It wasn't cheap!
